Well I only drink diet pops and pretty much have since I was 4. I think it tastes pretty similar myself. My Bf who only drinks regular pops likes diet dr p. Free coupon you cant go wrong though ya know, gives ya a chance to try it out right?

But if you are only used to regular you will notice a difference..but its not bad. One of the better diet pops (next to diet dew)

you've never heard someone call a soft drink "pop"?
I'm going to flat out assume you're probably american where they flat out refuse to call it anything other that soda.

southern US call pop "soda"...northerners call it pop.

most northerners are slowly migrating to soda....

while many southerners (alabama/mississippi) have began calling EVERYTHING coke

why do you call it coke? Coke is a brand..that would be like calling all smokes marlboros..cigs are a general term and brand specific would be camel, marlboro..

why not call "pop"/"Soda" by its own brand? Im confused on that but w/e

When I grew up on the west coast everyone referred to all the carbonated drinks as "Soda", which is completely understandable because the main ingredient is carbonated soda water.. Than I moved to the northern mid-west and noticed everyone referred to sodas as "Pop". I wanted to punch everyone that said it, I mean what's so pop about it? the fucking sound of the can opening?
Only until a few years ago I found out the southerners call carbonated drinks "Coke", this I really don't understand, because it's a brand of a carbonated drink. I can see if I wanted a coke instead of a sprite i'd say "I want a coke." So if someone from the south wants a sprite, would they say "I want a coke." and the person would magically know what they are talking about? Or do they just refer to all carbonated soda's as cokes and just tell the person they want a *insert brand*?

for me its more of a generic thing, "I drink too much coke" meaning, "I drink too much soda/pop". When ordering in restaurants i have never asked for a coke without wanting a coca cola.

it's 'pop' in the midwest, 'coke' in the south, and 'soda' basically everywhere else.

I hear both soda and pop regularly, although the word that most readily comes to my mind is "pop". I've never heard of calling all carbonated drinks "coke", that would confuse the shit out of me.

Just to put in another term, here it gets called "fizzy drink" quite often. Soda and pop is too American for us.

And to anyone who calls anything but coca-cola coke. Please go re-asses your life
