It's best to get jeans with a slightly slim, or classic cut (if the latter isn't too baggy). Personally I prefer the slim bracket of cuts, though I understand not every man can pull it off well.

Kidding. It takes me a very large amount of sifting through different shops to find anything suitable for me, and I can be really finicky. Like, I will not buy a pair of jeans if I don't agree with the stitching on the back pocket. Really though, no brand is perfect, and it's all about the right cut and the right colour. I like deep indigo dyes, though that's purely a choice of mine. But back to your question, and just off the top of my head, I've gotten good pairs of jeans from Ralph Lauren, Forever 21 (though the jeans they carry are Heritage-brand), the Gap, and (:facepalm:, yes...) Pacsun. Jeans from those places don't tend to be too outrageously-priced.

But again, I don't shop on a brand basis. It's about being keen and buying exactly what suits you. Most jeans are atrocious, regardless of brand, and there's no use in spending god money on some Abercrombie-brand faded denim piece of shit with built in tear and wear. Please...

Oh, and a word of advice regarding jeans with dark hues... They tend to rub on on lighter-coloured fabrics (socks, upholstery) and can become quite faded after a single wash. I try and wash my jeans as absolutely little as possible (barring some unforeseen mess, like spilling ketchup all over yourself) because most of mine are in fact dark-hued. For example, the jeans I wore today I bought about a month and a half ago, and I have no plans on washing them anytime soon, and a pair I bought in March has been washed once. They're by no means filthy, don't smell funky and look great (except the one I washed, it faded a bit).

Again, I wear pants like this often and I don't experience any discomfort (I'll spare you the need to make the quintessential "lol faggit got no balls" wisecrack :rolleyes:). However, I wouldn't be caught alive in light coloured jeans for one very particular reason. In lighter fabric that's rather tight, a slight bulge can sometimes appear on the trouser front of the pants, something that for me is deathly embarrassing; this doesn't show on darker-coloured pants. But this only shows on very tight pants, and shouldn't be a problem if you go all-out skinny-jeaned.

Right! Cheap Monday jeans tend to be of high quality and design (as in, visually appealing) but the 'Cheap' in 'Cheap Monday' is, more often than not, a misnomer. If you want the style without the cost, I'd suggest paying a visit to your local Goodwill/thrift shop. You'd be surprised at what one can find there with a keen enough eye, and I can tell you from experience it's entirely possible to walk out of there with very high quality clothes (Prada, Moschino, etc) at prices that are nothing short of a steal. Likewise, if you don't want to go out of your way for lower prices, you could always buy them at retail prices (ouch)

The only jeans I wear/buy are from Armani/Guess/Diesel/etc. I range from 31/31 to 32/32, and they fit fine. Before I started wearing that, I used to wear Hollister/A&F/Reuhl (still do occasionally, just because their clothes are comfortable), and I was the same size, and they fit fine.
