Aka, Man, the clueless loser.
Warning, rant ahead.
So I play this game online, been playing about 2 years. It's a MMORPG, of sorts. I know a lot of people there, have met a few irl, pretty accomplished as far as the game goes, too.
I know this dude, hereafter known as "Suckman" (not his real name, though it should be)
He and I have been casual friends/acquaintances in the way that skilled players become without being really close, for a couple years now. Turns out, he lives a couple hours from me now I live in cali, and we make vague "oh we should meet up" plans. However, he has this online girlfriend, (from hereafter known as the cunt).
Suckman and Cunt have been together a while, both having previously dated on this game. I don't believe in dating online, or dating through a game especially, so I'm like "whatever".. He and I make plans to meet, but he backs out since he doesn't "trust himself" around me, and wants to remain loyal to Cunt.
We don't talk often, but a couple weeks ago, we happen to be on the same multi-player raid type thing, start talking, also talking on ventrilo at the same time. He starts flirting with me, mentioning coming to hang out.. I say "yea, right, sure you will".. He persists, I say "ok, so what's changed?"
Turns out, he flew basically all the way across the country to meet up with Cunt for the second time. Apparently the first time they met they hit it off, but this time for whatever reason, she says "Oops, sorry, I don't feel the same way about you that you do about me".. He flies home, and then starts flirting with me approximately a day later. None of this I really know, and when he tells me about it implies that it happened more like a couple weeks previously, rather than a couple days.
He does actually come over, we hang out and have fun for a while, and end up doing the sex thing a few times. He leaves the next day, but around 7pm.. All good, no commitments or expectations, I had fun, no strings attached.
Until other people find out what happened. I then get harassed by Cunt and her army of Cuntlings. He pussies out and asks me to leave his ventrilo server a few times, as well as leave raids at other times.. He never really apologizes, never basically tells the Cuntlings to fuck off, since ya know, none of his issues have anything to do with me.
Cunt is basically a cunt to me (hence the name) pretty consistently until I /mute her, and every character associated with her. She's also a cunt to him.
Eventually, despite doing my best not to get involved in their drama and not cause more, I snap, yell at him, and tell him to grow a pair.
Today I somewhat relented, and apologized for my outburst, mostly borne from frustration that his version of no strings attached meant we couldn't even be friends at all anymore.
He ends up talking to me about how he feels about cunt. Despite the fact that she's a jealous insecure little bitch, he's still madly in love with her, prepared to move across the country for her in a heartbeat, and basically castrate himself in order to please her.
Also. He's 32, she's 19/20. I'm 30.
Seriously. I don't care that he had no interest in me beyond sex, despite the fact that we both had fun.
What I do care about is the fact that he (a) was a complete pussy, and not straight with me about the facts before he came over, and not straight with me afterwards regarding whatever else was going on.. he basically just stopped talking to me completely.
(B) The fact that he STILL will do anything for this completely and utterly psycho stalker chick. I don't get it. Their relationship is totally doomed to failure, and he just doesn't see it. Even if they do get back together, they're doomed to emotionally crappy highschool level drama, and while he's been an ass to me, nobody deserves that.
Stupid stupid stupid guys. Get a clue and realize that she was just using you for online affection and didn't actually want you in the real world.
