Rambo V has been confirmed and is in pre-production.[3] On February 2, 2008, Sylvester Stallone informed Reuters in an interview that making a fifth Rambo would depend on the success of the fourth movie but that he thought he was "gearing one up" and that it would "be quite different".[4] On March 10, 2008, Moviehole.net revealed that in an interview with Metro magazine, Stallone said that he was "half-way through" writing Rambo V and that it would not be another war movie.[5] On March 20, Moviehole.net also said that ScreenDaily.com had revealed that the film would be shot in Bulgaria and later received word from a source that Bulgaria was to double for John Rambo's home town in Arizona.[6][7] On November 3, 2008, Stallone confirmed that they will be filming a Rambo V and that it's in the works. Stallone said: "Rambo will be back. We've just got to give you guys a story that's worthwhile." It is rumoured that the new film's plot (which was an alternative for Rambo) involves Rambo's unknown daughter being kidnapped by cult leaders and he goes on a mission to rescue her

Now I know what you're thinking. Not another fucking Rambo movie! But let's remember folks, Gran Torinio was supposed to be "just another Eastwood movie" and it wasn't

As a fan of action movies I can safely say Rambo 4 was one of, if not the best action film ever made. The last 8 minutes alone are enough to give that movie the title of best action movie.

I have some high hopes for it but I wouldn't be surprised if it sucked a big one. At least it's not another Rocky movie.

Excellent. I love what Stallone is doing with his old franchises. I was concerned about these revivals but his projects so far have turned out nicely and I have high hopes for Rambo V.

And what do you mean "at least it's not another Rocky movie?" Rocky Balboa was a good movie. I'd say it's one of the better films in the series.

I'd just rather watch boxing over a boxing movie. My dad used to watch those movies constantly when I was growing up and it just made me dislike the series.

If someone is thinking "Not another Rambo Movie!" They are pussies, that cant watch action movies because it will make there frail bones turn to dust. Or they are girls.

I was hoping for the Ultimate action movie, a movie that would make Rambo 4 and Crank seem like nothing. But, who knows it could turn out good.

On other, related action movie news ( i posted this in totse :( )

The Expendables, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1320253/

just read the plot, and look at the cast, and tell me how excited you all just got.

Damn that looks fucking awesome. Dulph Lundren, the original punisher and russian guy from Rocky,Jet li, Rourke, Jason Statham and Stalone? That's a mighty fine action movie cast.

I shuddered at the thought of yet another past its prime movie trying to be brought back in, but when i watched Rambo 4, i was surprised. It was actually enjoyable because it was straight to the point, with no dramatic, dragged out story. Just mind numbing killing that moved along at a nice quick pace. So if Rambo 5 is the same, then bring it on.

i have a feeling this will be crap. if it's the same one i'm thinking, it will have some "anti-racist" (see anti-white) plot that has to do with rambo killing racists for messing with some indians. so everything good about rambo 2008 will be the opposite in this movie. (if it's what i am thinking.) i dont see how the hell the last rambo was ever released.

I don't like the Rocky movies for anything more than their comedic value. It just bugged me that neither Rocky nor Apollo Creed seemed to give a shit about blocking in either of their fights. I know they're movies, but I just couldn't let that go:confused:
