It was exceedingly bloody, and pretty poorly acted. Which is exactly what I was hoping for :D

If you're looking for a bloody, campy horror movie, I recommend this one.

Hmm...I'd say that CH was a bit more brutal just in that it was filmed to seem more real. Howver, I thought that Hatchet was more entertaining. I'm a bit fan of straight-up horror and slasher films, and CH isn't really either.

But CH still stands as a more important film in the "splatter" genre, despite being a bit dated.
