First, I'd like to apologize for my absence. Secondly, I'd like to inform the DIY regulars you're going to have to deal with the absence for another week or so. I apologize. Onto the issue at hand:
Now that moderators can archive threads, I need to come up with a method of archiving the guides.
The plan I have is to judge the quality of the thread by the response in it. From that, a decision will be made to add it to the DIY Directory, wiki, and archive.
Does this seem like a sound plan, or are there any other ideas you'd like to bounce around? Speak now or forever hold peace. I'm going to start the archiving process after feedback.

Can't see the video at the moment.
Since you're going to start that, I guess I might make a guide on how I made my oscilloscope, magnetic stirrer, potato gun, coilgun, desk, computer LED's, flamethrower, and anything else I'm missing.
On a side note... Love your avatar. I've had a green ASCII version on my school notebook for awhile.

Sounds like a good plan.
I posted a bit on my somewhat portable 12v 33Ah deep cycle SLA based power supply a long time back... I might have to work on it a bit more and get a decent write up made with pics. I can't really think if I have any other worthy projects around.

Then I guess all I have to do is run it by munkey and RDP, then apply for wiki editing or whatever zok is going to do for article management.

Can't quite remember...was that the deep cycle battery hooked into an inverter?

Why am I subscribed to this? Oh that's right I made off-topic posts and got infracted.
I think I have some DIY guides on my computer, I'll look and if I got them I'll post them.

13579, yup basically. I'm thinking I might get a battery isolator for my car, and mount it in my car... So that I can run radios and what not off the deep cycle battery without killing the car battery, then have the deep cycle batt charge right back up to normal whenever the alternator is running.
OH, and some of you creative bastards should do carPC shit. Perhaps with small bits of custom zoklet awesome.
