Long story short I work construction and am sick of shit in the cab of my truck so I'm building a box for it.
It'll be a while but I'll post updates as I go... So far I think I have enough square tubing to make the frame for it and I might have enough tin or wood around to build the outer shell.
If I use wood I'm going to fiberglass it to make it durable as all hell.
I just bought two new door locks for my truck and since the pasanger side doesn't work period I'm just going to use my spare so I don't have to fiddle with keys for it.
There's a small kicker... I'm installing a small gas BBQ or stove top in it as well so when I'm on the job I can have hot coffee or burn up a can of whatever while I'm standing around flagging or mexican bachoeing.
It'll be away and insulated / conected properly so nothing will burn down or explode.
At a later date I'll try to find an eletric valve and install it so it shuts off the gas after a set time limit so there will be some electronics involved but also less burning of food.
There will be pictures and a step by step if I can mannage to find my digital camera and patch cord for it.
Anyways wish me luck and hopefully someone finds it a good idea and copies me.
Also may attempt a small cooler with a drip valve or something but that's few and far between... Right now I just want to be able to make hot food and drinks before winter hits.
