None of the more retarded english ones like Brum, Geordie, Scouse, yorky or norfolk. No 'mummerset' neither. London, Cockney, Estuary are all cool and also French, German, dutch.

Irish , but not Northern Billy-Talk.

Scotch is cool.

I love Irish accents on men. It's the hottest thing a man could possibly possess.

It seems that people from other countries really like American southern accents, but a lot of Americans that aren't southern find them really obnoxious.

I don't mind them, I lived in the south for years, but a lot of people find them annoying.

Israeli can sound pretty awesome, but like you said - only if it's light. Same with Russian IMO.

French and English (the finer sounding ones, like Cockney) can be a little bit heavier and still sound good, as well as midwestern.

I'm probably especially attracted to standard English, Scottish and Irish accents.

Although a hint of anything different from my way of speaking always holds some fascination.

My own natural accent is standard American- kind of what most people perceive as the average American accent, only a bit rounder and more formal. (Some people even mistake it for British- but those people are probably idiots anyhow.)

I met a guy with an Irish accent in Central Park once and thought his voice was unbelievably sexy.

I've always wondered what American accents sound like to people not from the US. Is it sexy? Boring? Or does no one really take notice because people speaking in American English are so widespread (through the media, etc)?

lol, sweden kicks ass. probably one of the coolest countries in europe. most swedish girls i've seen are blond, and have similar facial features for some reason. but most other countries in europe, there really is no particular look. but ireland i would imagine would have the most green eyed redheads (my favorite).

english accents are ok. i think it's funny to hear most europeans just learning english to speak english. because there words are out of order in english. i knew a russian once like that. and it would be cute with a girl.

The thick Norfolk accent has always been a boner killer for me mate. A slight accent is okay, no worries there but one evening just outside Potter Heigham when I were a lad, all I could predict one girl saying next was "Ya wanna see moy trac-tor?!"
Fuck knows where she was from (her accent was very different from the other birds in that village) but it was a heavy accent.

Lovely looking girl and pretty good at cock sucking but hearing her say "Oi want you ta fuck me aaaard!" just made me laugh mate!

Don't tell me about the Norfolk accent. We moved up here when I was a nipper and my parents sent me to a village school just outside Upper Nosebleed.

I couldn't understand a word anyone said. It still makes me cringe when youngest son's girl friend opens her bleeding North 'n South.

Like someone said, an israeli accent can be pretty hot on guys sometime if done right. Then there's just the usual spanish anf french... OH, and romanian too.

Who knows what Queenie really gets up to in private, what with her buggering butlers so strictly observing the traditions of the 'silent service'. But personally it amuses me to think that after she's popped the Kohinoor in the dishwasher and fed the corgis, the first thing she asks Philip is if he could put some cream on her farmer giles.

English (except the aforementioned trashy-sounding ones), French (Quebec comes second to European, but still hot), Spanish (Spanish Spanish, a lot of American varieties are a bit annoying IMO), Italian. Germans sound hot too, but more in a strange, Nazi-fetish-esque way ;). Irish accents just remind me of my grandparents. Aussie girls sound like they could kick my ass.

No love for Canada here?

I don't blame you all. We sound like nerds with stuffy noses.

Speak for yourself, Ontarian . We west-coasters just sound so cool. [/denial]

Heh.

Back in my university days I had this TA who was German, and his accent was not only not hot, but pretty difficult to understand.

u=Irish much?

u=gross, lol

Is there a difference between the accents (if they exist) in these two regions? Cause I honestly can't tell (keep in mind I am not a native speaker). The only thing I know is that the Canadian accent is pure sexhood and all (real!) Canadians sound hella hot.

lastly I don't remember if I hate you or not...see I have so many feuds with so many mods I have simply lost track of who I am not talking to. So if I am not supposed to be talking to you, please disregard this post, thanks.

and a southern American accent. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

There are south American accents? Wow, never realized. I like girls with Southern accents, Italian, but by far French is the best.

French women.....ouch!

I think southern American accents are AWFUL if I hear that from a mans mouth it's a major let down.

I have to say, a posh English accent is awesome, but an Irish accent, oh man - I'm totally gonna marry an Irishmen one day.

I go a bit silly over most accents, but English and Irish mostly. American and Canadian go okay too. And New Zealanders...

I've noticed Americans put a lot of emphasis on 'r' whoever it was that asked.

eg. Peanut Butterrrrr.

Even scouse (Liverpool)?

lol, what's wrong with scouse? i have a little bit of a scouse accent. well, it's kinda posh scouse because i live 20 mins away from liverpool, not in it.

i'm sorry but if i was to say an accent in england was bad i'd say the brummy accent.

I agree, quite bad. The geordie accent is by far the coolest.

Somebody asked what Americans sounds like; I assume he was just clarifying further.

Why so defensive?
