I watched this film yesterday and I would consider it a film with almost 3 hours of "good". Can be funny, has an interesting story based on an interesting concept, and a great start, middle and ending.
The man that is struck seven times by lightning is a plus.
What's your opinion on this film?
EDIT: Also some couple dropped a 100 peso bill in front and didn't notice, so my soda, nachos and popcorn were free, making me enjoy the movie even more :p

I liked t. There were times it dragged on but overall it was good. I liked the characters and the Forrest Gump feel the movie had.
Plus the idea of the clock going backwards in hopes of bringing back dead soldiers and how it relates to Benjamin was awesome.
It's based on a classic F. Scott Fitzgerald short story and was done amazingly well. A good reminder that Pitt still has acting chops.

Yeah, that's what I thought. It has this Forrest Gump feel from a different perspective, which I found pretty entertaining.
"Did you know I was struck 7 times by lightning"?
That old man made my night.

it was good concept but the end was little off the hook! they could have shown he is getting young and his brain is shrinking instead of his body! or he should be fetus in the end!

I thought that film was amazing. It was really cool to see him go through time periods like the world war and the 60's. Really cool stuff. And the ending was sad.
Going to watch it tonight :).

Pretty damn good film. I can honestly say it's actually worth winning those Oscar awards.

I think technically it was an achievement, Fincher's directing masterful and the cinematography and make-up mesmerizing. But I think as a whole the movie failed and ended up as an over pretentious and empty romance between two people with no chemistry. Pitt gave a performance that was empty, his acting was the make-up and the slow pacing really brought it down...the whole movie seemed to be in some ridiculously slow motion monotone. I think Fincher deserves recognition for his direction but I think Pitt is getting too much recognition for a performance far from his personal best. Nor do I think it's worthy of being best picture...in my opinion Milk, Slumdog and even the Dark Knight surpassing it as a whole.

I cried like a little schoolgirl right in the theater when I watched it. Fucking phenomenal.
