games.com used to have a java based monopoly game, with a pretty big user base, but have since changed up. I can't find anything else like it. Hasbro has some lame new version with totally inflated prices, but no option to play with others and chat etc.

anyone have any source to play monopoly? i can't find anything decent in google.

Yeah I'd like an online version of Monopoly, fun game but people wont play it with me since I get 'too competitive'.

i found one on pogo. the prices are inflated but if you pretend to take the decimal out and the million then its just like the original..

They have all sorts of random house rules they MAKE you play. Like the one time I played it I got to have several turns in a row, for no apparent reason. On the third time the person I was playing with quit and accused me of cheating.

I'm loveing the pogo one, i don't know what type of house rules your talking about, if you get doubles you roll again, if you get 3 doubles in a row you go to jail.
some people just leave, and are replaced by a bot until someone else joins.

I wasn't getting doubles, and I went 3 times in a row. after a few times the other person typed "CHEATER!!!!!!" and left.

yeah i've been playing for a while now... its the same once you get passed the inflated prices.


and the tabs for the rooms are all with different rules.. the Official tab is the exact monopoly rules, the pogo tab is with money on free parking and something similar, the speedy tab is for a fast paced game where you start with 2 properties. Unfortunately there are no rooms for custom games :/

Does pogo have a profanity filter in the game chat?

there are some game rooms with uncensored chat.
But the people playing in there won't mind if you do that.
