View Full Version : Underage Gambling
Say if you wanted to do a bit of online Poker, but were underage, would there be anything to worry about if you already had a verified PayPal and found a site that accepts that type of payment?
Like Ladbrokes does. Would Ladbrokes be able to fuck you over with some kind of identity verification or whatever?
Cheers :)
P.S I'm not planning to do this, SWIM is :)

To have your threads not locked, use the term 'SWIM'.

I used to do this and got away with it a number of times.
The only time you're gonna get caught is when/if you try and cash out and need some ID.
If its faked, half the time they'll be able to tell. Depends where you go really.

Ladbrokes don't say what sort of checks they'll carry out to verify age. If you handled everything online (depositing, betting, withdrawing and whatever), and used a verified PayPal account (with the Ladbrokes and PP account details matching), would they carry out an "investigation" or whatever to verify you're 18?
You need to be 18 (I think) to have a verified PayPal. So, if both account's details matched up, surely they wouldn't bother with lots of checks?
Thanks :)

you bumped a 4 day old thread, i looked at it and saw a reply by numberjumbo and thought he was alive.
but no, your just retarted, no offence
just try it out, i doubt theyll do anything because as far as there concerned your money is just as good as anyone elses. register up if you get busted what are they gunna do, send you a cranky letter
also just bludge your dads credit card, you youngins have it so easy, back in my day to entertain ourselves wed steal pokemon cards and go on joyrides, now your all on this internet thing and you have such a large access of information, its no wonder 12 year olds are robbing banks and commiting identy theft

i was searching to see if you need a cvv to register a card with them but they want me to type in a bunch of bullshit before i can find out. so in return heres there policy on underage business, says a third party so there will be a small chance they ask someone who gives a fuck to check over your paypal account, really ive never heard a poker website to use paypal but if thats the case make a fake paypal with the age above, doesnt matter if your bank accounts age is underage they cant ask your bank that, they can only get info from paypal.
but chances are they wont ask, most places go by a ratio, maybe 10% they check, kinda like tax checks lol, try it, if it fails make a fake paypal which is really really easy
now that i helped you find out if they ask for cvv's or just the card number, might be a convinient way to launder funds from cards
bets may only be placed by those who are aged 18 or over and Ladbrokes takes very seriously its responsibility to ensure compliance with this.
We therefore may need to verify your age and to do so we will forward your name, address and date of birth to a third party to electronically verify these details.
A record of the search (but not that it was carried out by Ladbrokes) may be retained and this information may be used in the future by other businesses who use the service for the same purpose and with whom you do business.
The third party that we use is fully aware of its obligations under the Data Protection Act and will always act in accordance with its provisions.

SWIM got a PP account when he was 17 so unless they've changed it somehow then you can get one before 18.
SWIM managed to win a large amount of money and cash out with a modified ID from 32vegas.

Don't bother playing online poker. That in itself is a bad idea.
