Who are your favourite Gen-X authors?

I have to mention Coupland, Palahniuk, and Ellis.

Any particular books?

Coupland's Generation X definitely.

I was quite a fan of Garland for a while. The Beach, The Coma, The Tesseract.
Other than that... Infinite Jest? The Ice Storm? Are those are gen x?

Without a doubt, Garland fits.

Life after God has to be my favourite by Coupland.

Never read Garland's "The Beach", but did enjoy "The Tesseract".

And Brett Easton Ellis would have to be a contender.

Not really a 'genre' I read all that much to be honest.
