Currently, I've got Skate 2. Tomorrow I'm getting my refund (I already beat the game) and I'll be using the store credit for another game.
The question is,
Should I spend all $60 on a copy of Fallout 3?
Should I spend all $60 on another game?
Should I get GTA: San Andreas, because its awesome?
What other games would you recommend with great replay value?
The latter two are preferred, because I'm saving money for Resident Evil 5. So what game would you recommend for me?

60? You plan to purchase Fallout 3 for a console?
Play Psychonaughts. It's free from Gametap

Fallout 3 is good for at least 2 playthroughs minimum.

Forza 2 should be at the top of the list of any 360 owner into any kind of racing games. That game's phenomenal, everyone from 17 year old nooblets to 55 year old retired racing drivers. It's only like $5 now, and if you can get into it I garuantee you can spend upwards of ten times as much of your life playing it than anyone possibly could spend on Morrowind.
Gotta say though, it's not Need For Speed. The more into cars & racing you are in real life the deeper you'll get sucked into Forza 2. I'm not surprised you're trading Skate 2 in. It's pretty poo.

With all due respect, I'm going to done with racing games for a little while, especially after Midnight Club LA and the shit races in Skate 2. So yeah, I'm going to browse around tomorrow and see if they have San Andreas.
Otherwise, any other old games worth checking out?
Was Doom 3 worth it?
Was Oblivion worth it?
Was Ninja Gaiden (Black Edition or not) worth it?

I found all three to be a lot of fun. Fallout 3 would not be a bad choice, either.

Wait, PS3 doesn't have Left 4 Dead? Are you sure?
But I want to Play Beyond.
It is kind of funny that the OP doesn't even mention what system he has in a thread about what games he should get.

I mentioned Doom 3 and Ninja Gaiden Black in my second post; that should be evidence enough.
Anyways, after some faggot at Play N' Trade disputed with me about refunding Skate 2, I got the refund and bought Doom 3 for real cheap.

Except most people aren't going to read through an entire thread of suggestions, they're just going to read the OP, see that you want game suggestions, and make a suggestion or two.
I'm not going to read an entire thread of games people listed, I just read your first post, scanned to see if anyone had mentioned L4D, and then posted it. If you want better suggestions, it's a good idea to put the system you want suggestions for because while they're aren't a huge amount of games exclusive to either the PS3 or 360, often times the exclusive titles are the best.

play San Andreas on your PC instead. It's going to be alot cheaper and there's more replay value via mods.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is a great game, but a lot of people don't like it.
Fallout 3 has great replay value and is a very long game with lots to do.
Time Shift (should be able to find cheap) is pretty good.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance / Forza 2 pack usually goes for $25 CAD as well.
If you're into PC gaming I'd advise buying Half Life 2 and Garry's Mod. Plus if you have an ATI or NVidia Graphics card [Intergrated Graphics also count.] you can get some free expansions.
Garry's Mod is good since it's technically an FPS and you can't complete it since there are no goals and there are practically no limits in what you can do either.

Is this sarcasm? I really hope not, because this game, although a tad short, is absolutely amazing. I would recommend this to everyone.

I'd rather kill myself with an electric fence.
What I should be playing is Left For Dead, or Left 4 Dead, or whateverthefuck it is, but I'm stuck at work. Haven't played it but read some reviews a few hours ago. Is there a demo on xbox live?

Fallout 3 without a doubt if you don't already own it. It's good for at least around 150hrs of play (one of the few recent games that is value for money - single player campaign wise).
Get it for PC if you can though as mods will extend it even more.
Doom 3 and Oblivion are both worth playing through at least once - if you haven't already played them get them as they'll probably be cheap now (especially second hand).

Gears of War 2. Can't believe it hasn't been mentioned yet.
Fallout 3 is also outstanding, but you need to play it on the PC.

GOW 2 really wasn't that great. It's good if you were a big fan of the first one, but it doesn't have much merit in its own right. Story is alot better, though (but still not that great)

If you were a fan of the first one? Gears of War was revolutionary for its genre and the second installment is more of the same, and then some. Game developers everywhere have tried copying the formula ever since, borrowing from the series left, right and center. Gears of War is to third person shooters what God of War is to modern beat-em-up games. How can you not be a fan of these games?

What exactly was revolutionary about it? Its awesome voice acting?

The big manly men and button pressing sequences. Also that whole cover system thing that was used in like The Godfather which was truely innovative. Maybe the use of guns with Chainsaws .
The second one really out did the first one as far as multiplayer because of how I'm able to chainsaw/smoke/flamethrower/rocket/nade/mine spam eveywhere I go. I also completely hated the way people used the shotgun to get kills that took some skill to master aswell.

I agree with this entirely. Bully is a fucking awesome game. It starts off pretty decent, and then gets even better. Nice one, DBD!

i recently started playing Black & White 2 again. one of the most addictive games in recent history.
Usually i'm not a big fan of strategy (coz i suck at offensive battles) but this game just lets me build impressive cities and win that way... and of course i dig the medieval theme.
The only other game i get massive play out of is Forza 2.
