I need to make a completely self sustaining terrarium out of two liter bottles (2 of em, the bottoms of both taped together). And I need to know what plants and decomposers I should put in. It needs to be COMPLETELY self sustaining, once it is closed we are not allowed to do anything to it for 9 weeks. The ratio of producers (plants) to consumers (animals, aphids) /decomposers (worms) is 10:1
please help, I haven't been able to answer this question anywhere

What class is this for? Biology? :hrmph:
Your school has a better science program than mine; my biology class fucking sucked.

This sounds like a cool project. If this works out on here, I might try to do it as well.

Yes this is for a biology class.
I will try to remember to post the results when I make it ;)

This is probably a useless idea, but you should try growing shrooms in there. Just shrooms. :)
Eat them after the project is graded. :p

Yeah, I wanted to try and grow morning glory or sassafras in there but I dont think that either would work very well.
