Alright, so I'm currenty in the DEP and lied about some fairly minor bullshit pertaining to my medical history on my records. Mostly things in relation to various medications I've taken for ADHD and a psychiatric history which involves a few therapists and a breif evaluation in a youth mental health facility. Othewise I'm a pretty solid candidate (99 asvab, High school grad, no criminal record etc..) so should I worry about this or do people normally not get caught for this sort of thing? I'm curently signed up for airborne infantry, so no security clearence needed.

As long as theres no "paper trail" of your psychiatric records you should be fine

Also as long as you don't go for a position where they will research it on you.

Yeah, I'm fairly theres a pretty substantial paper trail, but the Psychiatric facility concluded that there isnt any very much wrong with me IIRC, so am I fucked or should I just join up and act as sane as possible during my active duty to prevent any further inquiry? (I've heard they only look into these things if any problems arise while you're already active and such)

The only way they will know about it is if someone tells them.

There is no paper trail...there are no consequences. Just dont buy into any of the bullshit that they will tell you when you get to boot camp. They will say that they found out everything and your going to the brig but its all bull shit. Plus your not United States property until you graduate boot camp or can really get NJP'd "generally speaking" until you graduate infantry school or wherever the army sends their guys "Im in the Marines".
I was on Ritalin and Adderal as a kid for this bullshit ADHD thing that all the parents were going crazy for back in my day but none of it came up and in all honestly nobody gives a shit.
Its just major bullshit hype to cover the Military's ass but in the long run they need bodies and they will wave pretty much everything these days so they can get their numbers.

Why not just go to normal college, and ditch the military?

I thought about it, but to be honest I find school to be completely insufferable. Plus, I didn't attend regular school for most of junior year and all of senior year (Truancy+Online high shcool FTW) so sitting in classroom is sort of a no go a this point. I'm just not suited for it I suppose.

So you'd rather be a pawn of the government? With that score on your test, don't think the military won't want to put you in a classroom.

Yeah, I certainly have some reservations about willingly becoming federal government property, but at this point I really don't know what I would do with my life. At least this is a (somewhat) productive way to kill a couple of years.

I was enlisted and never told the Army about a few bones I had broken or any of the surgeries I had prior to enlisting. Considering one of my surgeries was to remove my wisdom teeth and the Army gives you regular dental exams and x-rays, they knew I hadn't given full disclosure in my entry paperwork. It was never an issue. The only thing the dentist said to me was that I had nice teeth.

I was airborne infantry with a 99 ASVAB score. Being in the infantry means your classes are primarily hands on training. You will be given introductory classes on every subject, but most of your training is done in the field performing whatever skill you're learning.

Don't sign years of your life away just because you don't know what you want to do right now.

Ok Im not making fun of you or anything....but is it true that you are indeed a transvestite? Or is that just a bunch of bullshit everybody is spreading around?
And also 4 years really aint shit in the long run. You gain a lot more out of the military than what most people seem to think. So dont give me this shit that your signing your life away.
Plus killing a couple of people is far better than sitting in a fucking classroom.
