i need your guys help, i figured this was the correct section but im not really sure (could be nfhc)
ages ago on a tv program there was a clip about a man who knew about the effect of nearly every single plant in britain on the human body. he knew how much of nearly every living plant life in the british isles would do. i remember he described himself as somekind of oldage apothecary or somthing.
he described the effect of one little flower that he spotted at his feat, i think it looked a bit like a blue clover flower but i really cant remember, (the next bit is the only bit i am certain of details of)anyway he said the flower used to be eaten so people could go without food and water for a week, he had once tried it himself and didnt eat or drink for two days.
i call or your help to help me find this program ( i seem to recolect it was on the bbc but agen im not entirely sure) or detail of the man or his company so i can maybe contact them and learn from them, or read up on their knoledge. this would be a great help.
as a starting point if anyone also knows the name of the described flower please post it, or any information/detail you know if possible. thanks:clover:
