It's still going on right now, actually. There's a big tree that's next door (in 514's yard) that just fell into the alley between our houses. My car and sarah's car were both parked there and are now covered in tree. There are fallen trees all over campus - it's really quite absurd.

Yeah, I've been hearing that there have been pretty serious power outages around C-bus. I guess that hasn't hit Springfield?

Lots of springfield is without electricity and/or water. A number of places are also without gas, but that's not so bad since it's not winter. I took more pics on my way to and from classes today: http://zoklet.net/otg/

Holy shit. I just realized after viewing those pictures that THAT tree went down. You know the one. The random-electronics-stealing tree. Now I'm feeling nostalgic.

I'm the lead programmer for the school's website. Not the best pay, but I get to sit on front of a computer all day and make up excuses not to do work like, "The HDLP/PDA server is down. We won't be able to have your project completed until that's fixed - probably sometime next week" It's a pretty fun job, I enjoy programming and the school enjoys having a coherent website ;)
