Have you ever been out of cash but wanted to buy something? Want that new CD coming out or that DVD boxset? Ipod headphones? Flash drives? Then all you have to do is go on down to your local mall. At my mall, there is an FYE across from an FYE games which is next to a.... Radioshack? IDK, but some place that sells modern technology. Anyway, all you do is go into one of these places, stuff your pockets, make a tiny purchase, and walk out. What about the sensers you ask? How do you bypass those? Simple. Pure ignorance. When you here those damned alarms blaring, pause for a moment, look confused, then the salesclerk will tell you to just keep on going. Why not stop you? Because the sensers are all hooked up to the same system. I don't know much, but all I know is that when one alarm goes off, all three stores start beeping. The salesclerk has no way of knowing who sets the alarms off, so they let you escape, no problem.

Now, why couldn't one just distribute the times he visits the mall over one week? Just go once on say, every Sunday and Thursday to FYE, every Tuesday and Friday to Radioshack, and every Monday to FYE games? Every week one could make off with: One $60 game, Four $25 dollar DVDs, and Up to Five $25 flash drives. You would need nothing, no "magic bag", no sneaking around. Just go in a blindspot and shove stuff into your pockets. You could make potentially $285 worth of goods, in a few hours per week. If your on the safe side, go to two malls. Switch each week. You could make off with $1140 per month. Don't even switch malls, just go to both each week, and you could make double.Have fun using this for "informational purposes only"!

your name fits you well. do you think that this works at all of the malls in the world?
of course not. this will probably only help you and the people that shop at YOUR mall. at my mall, if you did that, theyd get those damn rent-a-cops on the segways to chase after you.

For the record, rentacops suck, and I've been to almost every mall in CT and RI, and whichever ones that have these stores usually has that setup.

My mall has real cops... They got tired of everyone's bullshit, and just got real cops.. There are still a few rentacops though.

That's got to suck. But, real cops can't do that much either unless they see you take something. I mean, they can't strip search you, or look in your car without a warrant or seeing something.

3 stores sharing one EAS alarm system? That's so outrageous I have a hard time believing it.

Even if it's a properly set up EAS system just keep walking casually. Unless they've seen you concealing merchandise there's pretty much nothing they can do.

That's true, but no joke, 3 stores, 1 alarm. Actually, I've seen this in about 7-8 malls throughout the Northeast.

This MIGHT work, if you don't look suspicious, but going back to the same mall over and over again, and each time setting off an alarm.....

Maybe I'm wrong pal, but 4 years experience is enough for me to know what I can and can't do.;) And, if the only thing you can do is flame other people who are a little younger than you, maybe even the same age, then you can gtfo, because I don't think anybody appreciates your immiture behavior.

This. No matter the store, the take, or whatever else you always want to avoid setting off the alarms, unless you just have to have something without desecrating the packaging. Even at a super-easy store like Borders you don't want to go off everytime you go. It just makes good, common sense...I thought.

Your mall wouldn't happen to be in Springfield, VA would it? Their mall has a Fairfax County Police satellite station on the lower level in front of Macy's.

This is the only mall I've seen this in, but I imagine there are plenty of others.

ive never shoplifted at a place with an EAS system, but there was one time where the checkout person didnt take a tag off and it did go off. i didnt know what was going on and nothing was done.

Nothing can be done if you weren't observed concealing merchandise. It's still ideal to not go off, however.

Same. And no, that's not how it is at ALL in any malls around here.. Each store has it's own alarm.. are you seriously just making that up? that is retarded dude. That isn't true at all.

hell my mall put a police sub-station in the mall. So at any given time there's 8 wondering around and 15 at the food court. So that seems impossible

Lol how did this thread get 3 stars? There isn't really anything informative in it at all.

All malls in my area have police and mall security. Some might only have them during busy times of day though.

Well, if you don't believe me, then your loss. Come to CT and find out I'm telling the truth.

You're not saying anything new...go in a store conceal stuff leave...congratulations you've figured out how shoplifting works.

And if you try stealing from a place twice a week, you're gonna get caught.

One is Brass Mill Center in Waterbury, go downstairs. It's right as you walk in.
