shits real, people sometimes just act out to get attention on tv, so in a sense the emotions are fake but the fights are genuine.

If it seems more setup and scripted blame it on that asshole Dana White. Fucking piece of shit is destroying the UFC form what it once was just 5 years ago not even going back 10 years or further. He always wanted to make it as big as the WWF/WWE.

As far as "fake" goes, the blood is real the fighting is authentic.

You call that real fighting? All Nelson did was throw his gut around, any decently trained fighter would have wrecked him. He just relied on his weight and Kimbo's inexperience on the ground. For fuck's sake, the lard ass couldn't even throw one decent punch. That was one of the worst fights I've seen in a long time.

Just to clarify, he's a former IFL HW champion who came by the championship by way of victory over a very weak fighter in Jaoude, and his career consisted of a title defense over a struggling Pegaleve, and an TUF reject.

That was a terrible fight between two terrible fighters. The Ultimate Fighter is a garbage show that has, thusfar, been incapable of producing fighters who can compete with ACTUAL martial artists. The only halfway decent fighter they've cranked out has been Diego Sanchez, and I guess Forrest and Bisping are OKAY. But other than that? Garbage.

He was still champ, how is he garbage? He has improved quite a lot since TUF, he's still has holes, but he has improved his stand up game ten fold.
