Even if the presence of THC were to come up on a test, the athlete(s) would only get a slap on the wrist seeing as marijuana is not considered a sports enhancement drug. There are penalties they would have to pay, but being barred from competing is not one of them. And I'm sure he's not a daily smoker. Maybe just on special occasions and in between training/events, etc...
