Here are my lockpicks I made from scrap metal and 1/3 inch steel. It is really not that hard to manufacture the things you need people. Just a little motivation is all it takes.

I just make them out of needles .. heat it orange hot with a lighter and bend with a pair of pliers, then heat it again, plunge it in cold water ..
Then use the parts of a compass (decent ones that have a 'clamp' thing) to hold it ..

Good idea, but I don't have the ten minutes to do that. Rather just steal a set.;)

I made several lock picks over the summer. I made about 20 or so different picks with a template. It was easy as long as you had a bench grinder and gloves.

ive made a few, though i cant seem to make rakes properly.

I made those with a broken garden rake (the lockpicks) a bench grinder and a bastard edge file.
