View Full Version : dark circles under my eyes
Hi..
I know that these are actually virtually impossible to get rid of (I have read on numerious sites) however I thought I'd just ask the forum, seeing if I could gain some insight.
What is the mechanism for these unsightly circles/things? I sleep 8 hours a day but I still get them, even though I am not tired. This really sucks because they make me look older than I already am.
I heard that one could either put slices of potatoes underneath the eyes, or actually buy creams that lighten the skin (as to make the circles less obvious). However I would like to know if there's any "permanent" solution to this problem...
Thanks.

What do you mean they are impossible to get rid of? There are plenty of creams on the market that cater to this, and I'm fairly certain there is a surgical procedure to remove them as well. Of course, nice makeup will hide any unsightly blemishes.

Really?
Elaborate please?

I constantly sit in my room with the television blaring to some flat tv show with women talking about redundant shit. They occasionally bring the topic up.

I don't know how stupid the people running your socialized medicine are, but you might be able to get this for free if you come up with a bogus reason for it. Otherwise, they look a bit costly

The weight of them resting on your cheeks is highly uncomfortable? There aren't very many things you can say that wouldn't be for a cosmetic change.

The weight of the sagging skin doesn't let your eyelid close completely.... that's the best BS I can come up with...

Dark circles are due to thin skin under the eyes, so you can see the blood vessels closer to the surface, making the skin under your eyes dark.
The best way to thicken up the skin is to add extra protein, so I'd suggest having your boyfriend ejaculate into your eyes at least twice a day.
I'm assuming you are gay, considering you're moaning about dark circles. GROW A PAIR M'BOY

I agree. I speak from having the same thing. But doctors tell me that mine come from severe allergies (I have like 43 allergies, most mild or moderate).

Meh, what's the point? Most women try to get rid of dark spots under their eyes, and then paint them above their eyes.
Strange creatures.

Sleep more? Mine come and go depending on how I sleep. Granted, they are always there to a degree, but I look less like a crackhead if I get 10 hours of sleep rather than 3-4.

That must be a hell of a thing to have to fill out on all the forms that ask for it.

So are you saying you have dark circles or bags? I've got the dark circles and I'm proud of 'em. I've got black hair and am rather pale though so it kinda suits me, don't know how it looks on you. It actually might not be that bad, post pics.

I always have dark circles under my eyes; but not the bags. It makes me look seedy I think, which has definate advantages at times.

I like dark circles on pale people. I've always had a soft spot for the heroin chic look.
