A lot of people on zoklet are moaning, about the quality of some of the posts in BI. So we need accurate and informing information, If we want to try and revive this forum. It's a team effort, we cant expect some of the more knowledgeable posters, to constantly spoon feed thier wisdom to the many kidiot trolls that inhabit bad ideas. Any bit of relevant information is welcome here no matter how small.
I was thinking we should have an informative "Ten Habits of successful criminals" here in BI. A handy and interesting read on the do's and dont's of the criminal underworld. We could have a section on police surveillance, how they watch people, the tactics involved and how to best protect yourself from thier many devices. A section on planning activities, how to survey a potential target yourself, sizing up the risks and how to plan a solid getaway.
Obviously im just throwing out ideas here, but together I know that we could make something worth reading in BI, instead of the wave of "how can I kill / rape this, women / dog / president.
gtfo merchant.
This is the exact kind of shit we don't want in Bad Ideas. You get the fuck out.
Now here below is an old textfile, but it's still good to keep in mind. Who would have known a libertarian or kike could produce a good document? Then again a lot of lawyers are kikes.
The following article is from a leaflet that has been distributed by the
Libertarian Party in New Jersey. Written by an attorney, it deals with
the subject of talking to police or other government agents.
************************************************** ***********
**** DON'T TALK TO COPS ****
************************************************** ***********
By ROBERT W. ZEUNER, Member of the New York State Bar
"GOOD MORNING! My name is investigator Holmes. Do you mind
answering a few simple questions?" If you open your door one day and
are greeted with those words, stop and think! Whether it is the local
police or the FBI at your door, you have certain legal rights of which
you ought to be aware before you proceed any further.
In the first place, when the law enforcement authorities come to see
you, there are no "simple questions." Unless they are investigating a
traffic accident, you can be sure that they want information about
somebody. And that somebody may be you!
Rule Number one to remember when confronted by the authorities is
that there is no law require you to talk with the police, the FBI,
or the representative of any other investigative agency. Even the
simplest questions may be loaded and the seemingly harmless bits of
information which you volunteer may later become vital links in a chain
of circumstantial evidence against you or a friend.
Do not invite the investigator into your home! Such an invitation not
only gives him the opportunity to look around for clues to your
lifestyle, friends, reading material, etc., but also tends to prolong
the conversation. And the longer the conversation, the more chance
there is for a skilled investigator to find out what he wants to know.
Many times a police officer will ask you to accompany him to the
police station to answer a few questions. In that case, simply thank
him for the invitation and indicate that you are not disposed to accept
it at that time. Often the authorities simply want to photograph a
person for identification purposes, a procedure which is easily
accomplished by placing him in a private room with a two-way
mirror at the station, asking him a few innocent questions, and
then releasing him.
If the investigator becomes angry at your failure to cooperate
and threatens you with arrest, stand firm. He cannot legally place
you under arrest or enter your home without a warrant signed by a
judge. If he indicates that he has such a warrant, ask to see it.
A person under arrest or located on premises to be searched, generally
must be shown a warrant if he requests it and must be given a chance
to read it.
Without a warrant, an officer depends solely upon your helpfulness
to obtain the information he wants. So, unless you are quite sure of
yourself, don't be helpful.
Probably the wisest approach to take to a persistent investigator is
simply to say: "I'm quite busy now. If you have any questions that you
feel I can answer, I'd be happy to listen to them in my lawyer's
office. Goodbye!" Talk is cheap. But when that talk involves the
law enforcement authorities, it may cost you, or someone close to you,
dearly.
P.S. "This leaflet has been printed as a public service
by individuals concerned with the growing role
of authoritarianism and police power in our society.
Please feel free to copy or republish."
If you ever get taken into the station. Do not talk without a lawyer present. Most people can't get a grasp on even this simple action (or lack of action). It's important to be polite and direct when you speak to them, simply tell them you can't answer them without talking to your lawyer. Ask for you phone call so you can get your lawyer. When your lawyer is there, you've probably seen on TV when the cops ask a question and the lawyer says "is that really necessary?" well in this case, when the cops ask you questions you should ask your lawyer if you have to answer those questions. Having a good lawyer is key to this (why it's a good idea to not spend all of your scammed money as soon as you get it).
I'll cover CCTV and a few other things later in this thread.
If it's okay with the mods can we delete all the worthless posts in this thread?
I have a thread in suggestions asking for a Law and order sub forum for bad ideas. Please bump it and add your input.

Get it right bitch, im a wealthy merchant.
You post alot in bad ideas, why would you straight away dismiss an idea to try and help out the forum? If you think it's stupid idea just say and perhaps try and contribute something positive.
Otherwise GTFO you pompous baron :D

I'll edit in later with some material.
Heres one of the knowledgeable posters right here.
Anything will be appreciated Slim, once we get the ball rolling we should have a nice lil read in the end, im going to try and get some quality stuff for this thread. We want this to be a shining example of what BI is all about.

I think the people who don't have anything to offer except negative input will be uninterested in trolling bad ideas when there is better information here. It gets a little difficult to take a section seriously when one of the moderators is posting tutorials on child rape. There are a lot of great posters here, though, who do have a lot to offer.
That being said, I really love the ideas you suggested in the thread and I am looking forward to reading it.

I really really like that idea!
Like I said thats just a concept, if we all contribute we should have something really interesting and accessible for the many readers of BI. Alot of it is common sense for some.
All the good stuff in one place. Detailed information that can be applied to many different arms of crime. Thats what we need.
it sounds good...but this is all talk...hasnt been done...most likely wont be done. weve been trying to improve BI for what...like a year now? it still sucks...less than before...but it still sucks. theres always going to be trolls.
im just being realistic, not hating or anything...just speaking how i think this will end up.

I can see where you're coming from, but im determined to get something like this upped on here. I've enjoyed reading some of many interesting articles on Totse and Zoklet's BI, I want to contribute something back. But I need help though, I'll be reading and compiling some stuff for this soon, in the mean time people feel free to leave you're ideas here and discuss.

There's never been a "group effort" that's actually occurred. Only suggestions and some people going along with it for a few days, but nothing truly major.
What many fail to realize (or remember) is that BI is full of:
1. BS'ers;
2. petty criminals;
3. people that have done small crimes and are fascinated with bigger ones but have no balls to do them; (probably think of crime organizations and master plans the same way Hollywood does them)
4. kids in general;
5. a lot more.
Seriously, if you have to ask a public forum advice for a "smash and grab", you should stick to or get a dead-end job.
I'm too busy with real life to post away on forums nonstop and daily like some people do (I type this while thinking of 313). I usually lurk and don't post, also.
While I was writing this i changed tabs and forgot about it, so I'll conclude it with this:
Problems of BI
1. Too few rules, with none versus spamming or unnecessary flaming.
2. Too few punishments from moderators towards shit posters.
3. Most of the posters are immature, stupid, and prefer to say "go0d stufz" or "GTFO mud crapper" instead of "very nice post you wrote, Ms. Daisy" or "you, sir, are a dime a dozen". I see the latter as more productive, maybe a bit more gay.
Solutions for BI
1. Make more rules to ELIMINATE the 'tards.
2. Punish those who disobey the rules.
As for the immaturity and stupid posters, they'll break rules and get banned out of BI, or be like Slim and turn a new leaf.
I never saw Bad Ideas as need for regulation though, since my short time at totse. Sometimes I'd like to see more informative threads over the lolsy, but most of the time it's shit if I'd care.

It gets a little difficult to take a section seriously when one of the moderators is posting tutorials on child rape.
I must have missed that one.
Problems of BI
1. Too few rules, with none versus spamming or unnecessary flaming.
I try to trash any really stupid posts, and in the better threads I'm pretty strict with deleting stupid posts.
2. Too few punishments from moderators towards shit posters.

We can't infract people for being stupid.

That was fucking uncalled for and pretty immature from you xannex. Hell I will fucking make another one which will guide anyone to kidnap kids and rape them and then kill them and ask for ransom without delivering the package. I think that will help wouldn't it.
Aside from Miss.Xannex and I have noted down the complaints and suggestions. I have been intentionally keeping away from BI's. All the moving and cleaning up has been done by Syphilis and I very lucky to have him as a Mod. The reason for being inactive was to gave Syphilis some space so he can moderate freely.
I do think Syphilis has pretty much everything under control and he does contribute which I generally don't. But still there is room for improvement and hopefully we will find a way to fix it.
In any case I am hoping to remove the gtfo/facepalm/stfu etc trend in BI. This will take some time and it might really hurt some users. But in the end what we really need is a balanced BI with information and some lulz in between.
Yes, there is an influx of users making stupid threads but this is BI things like that happen here all the time. What I can do is make some guidelines and enforce newbies (members as well :hrmph:) to follow them. Like thread below this quality will get locked or deleted etc.
The biggest problem is the users who are stupid. Well, I can't teach them. Sorry that can't happen but I might be to control them but that does require a community effort.
My aim is to make BI streamlined and organized. Which I have done and right now I am aiming for rare content. I mean no one discusses practical ways of doing stuff. If I want to bomb a nursing home I don't need to get Ammo from a Army base and then jump from a C-130 and release the bomb while taking out people using my handy sniper!
That's just stupid. What we need is posters like Slim. I don't need users who whine all the time and post nothing . I think Poast does a good job of handling that department. So, what you guys can do is post and contribute and whine less.
If your posts are good and to the point then the idiots won't have a reason to derail the threads and we can easily take them out.
Again less whining and more posting.
We can't infract people for being stupid.
I did ;)
I did ;)
That I can't do. Sorry I have a record of justifying my bans and infractions. And if I start doing it then my ass might get raped. I have other ways of dealing with idiots. I have use those methods in LOL, Internet and Trading Pit. I might use them in BI as well.
Read my edited post and give your input in this thread (http://zoklet.net/bbs/showthread.php?t=44240), please.
I'll be adding a few more things to this topic, a few files and some personal experience and input from myself as well like I did in the post I just edited.
seriously when one of the moderators is posting tutorials on child rape
A good past time of any BBS ;)

I even added a fair bit of info in that thread of DFGs. Child rape is never cool though, it must be consensual.

...It gets a little difficult to take a section seriously when one of the moderators is posting tutorials on child rape....Damn. Looks like I completely missed that part of this plot. My zoklet would never have such cruelty to children in it. There's Bad Ideas, and then there's just being a waste of good skin.

I also agree. A sticky were we can post answers to morons questions, such as, "How to destroy a car." "How to fuck up a house." Stuff like that. I myself try to contribute when I can beacuse if it wasn't for BI, I wouldn't be talking here not now.
I think blatant trolls should be locked removed, and that the penalty for spamming, or rule breaking within BI should be twice as hard. Maybe a sub forum like the VIP lounge? (X amount of posts required to enter.) Or would that create too much drama? I also think that mod's should have the ability to expel or suspend a user from a particular section. (Such as BI)
I'm gonna post a book about defence against cops written by an ex cop in a minute after I've read through it again myself and I'll add my own input on some key parts to it.
Could this thread be stickied AND archived if this thread gets really good? I'm constantly having to tell people to check archives. If this thread becomes something of importance like I hope then it should be stickied.
