Some kid from Vermont. Pretty good. I normally don't go for this stuff, but I've been listen to a lot of folk punk latley. The live stuff is shit, but if you can find a torrent, go for it.

I havent heard this guy in ages. If fact, if I remember correctly I was handed this shitty shitty demo buy a metalhead when I was New Haven. It was totally him. New Mexico Song rocks my face off.

Yes! Folk punk is pretty good. Acid Song definitely has to be my favorite Johnny Hobo song, great lyrics. Have you heard his new band?

I personally can't stand Ghost Mice. The guy lives here in Gainesville now and volunteers at the local record shop. I played with his other band and all he seemed to do was whine about people not respecting bikes and how the government sucked.

This is good though. Not really my thing anymore, but two years ago I would have been all over it.

This band doesn't exist anymore anyways. Apparently the guy got tired of being miserable all the time and decided it wasn't really his thing anymore.

he still plays, he's known as pat the bunny now. he just played a show the other day in lowell MA.

I saw him in worcester about a year ago in some random basement, he ended up getting so into it and was jumping around so much that he fucked his foot up and couldn't walk. really really fun to see live :thumbsup:

They have no drums, they have banjos and mandolins, and washboards. They're all dirty train hoping crustys who love folk music and barely any money for real instruments. They play wicked music and are talented as fuck.

Johnny Hobo doesn't play anymore, but I guess Pat The Bunny has a new band called the Wingnut Dishwasher's Union. He doesn't sing about drugs or alcohol anymore.
