Im looking to learn how to make .GIF immages and banners....does anyone know a program to use or maybe a video which explains it.

Someone else asked about GIF making in another thread not too long ago. You just have to make sure you have Photoshop or something similar. I'm sure most photo editing programs have an animation option these days. I remember using Gimp to make GIFs a few years back, and that’s free software in case you can't get yourself a copy of Photoshop.

You know you can animate in Photoshop? It's just a simple frame by frame animation though.

If you want to do it make sure you have all your images in layers and in order then go to 'Window' > 'Animation' and it will open up the animation tab.

Then click on the little down arrow icon with three lines next to it, under the 'x' on the tab and click 'Make frames from layers'

After that you can usually set the timing of each individual frame then go to 'Save for web and devices' and save it as a GIF :D

You can try use VidGif,it's tool for convert video into gif formats...I use it can try too.:p

If you can get your hands on a copy of Adobe Flash it can export in GIF. Its handy for converting video files into short GIFs as you can import AVI or FLV and export as GIF.

Flash is also a very powerful animation tool if you want to make your own animations from scratch.
