American Dad vs. Family Guy

Many of my contemparies regard Family Guy as the highest form of entertainment and believe it to be the creme de la creme of the animated shows. I think that American Dad, also made by the same guy is waaay better, as it does not revolve around character stereotypes as much and also isn't filled with flashbacks which really piss me off. I find Family guy was quite good at first, but they are just so repetetive that I really don't care anymore, wheras American Dad has more original jokes. Does anybody agree?

Also on a similar note, King of the Hill Is also so much btter than fam. guy, but is it true that its been cancelled for the Cleveland show(which would be sooo bullshit as cleveland is just one joke, that he cant talk)?

I, too, prefer American Dad to Family Guy. Family Guy is funny, but some of the jokes just get annoying. That whole "The Bird is the Word" is a recent example of a joke that just irritated the piss out of me.

Family guy is better then American Dad. The new Family Guy's are extremely stupid, but in the long run, the episodes are entertaining. In 2005 it basically became a new show, but with same charecters.

King Of The Hill is currently one of my favorite shows, and happens to be the one on regular TV I plan around the most. It is hilarious how Nancy keeps cheating on Dale with John Redcorn, but Dale never gets suspicious, even when John Redcorn climbs in the window.

Family Guy is pretty bad at times -- did you guys see that "The Bird is the Word" episode? Ugh. I still watch the show, however, because stupid or not, it makes me laugh. I really have to say Seth McFarlane has been given waaay too long of a leash over at Fox -- "The Cleveland Show"? Really? Really?

Family guys hilarious at times, but it lacks a certain quality & truth alot of other cartoons have.

hahaha. i think american dad fucking sucks. and i never really got into any animated comedies like that or the simpsons or the south park. i prefer seinfeld of curb your enthusiasm.
