I've had short hairstyles my entire life except the two years where I had a pretty massive mohawk. And the year where my hair was all ugly and shitty and fucked up.
I've never had hair longer than 6 inches all around, 10 inches for my mohawk. I want to grow long hair, but my hair kind of grows up...like a nigger or a jew :hrmph:
Is it possible for a person with hair like mine to get long hair? How long would it take to get it to shoulder length?

Well, elaborate more on your Hair crisis.
Is your hair naturally wavy, nappy? Do you want it straight like how the average skater has it? or japanese emo?
I haved your same problem a few years ago. it didn't work out so i now have really short cuts. prison or army type haircuts.
After i had my haircut, i started looking up hair straightening techniques. i slapped myself and facepalmed until my forehead was red when i found the perfect one for me. Now, meeting with my old peers who i never for like 2 years... they have long hair i wanted it. right now, im considering in growing my hair with my friends guidance...lucky bastards.

Wet, blowdry and iron. Careful if your hair is too short to iron, though.
Never get a perm too. i did and it sucked ass. waste of 30 damn bucks.

Not only IRON it, but also put "the process" on it monthly.

What is "the process"?

Well, not everyday. about 2 times a week? 3 at max. all you gotta do is make sure you don't get your hair wet after you iron it. it'll turn frizzy if you do. thats why bitches hate to get their hair wet. And notice on rainy days, most, if not, ALL of the girls you see will have frizzy hair. Especially those who iron.
And as for " the process"
I have no idea what he's talking about. if i had long hair, i would know but now im stumped.

If you were of the black persuasion, and wanted straight hair, you would go to a beauty parlor or barber shop in da ghetto and get "the process". Like the 'opposite' of a 'perm'.

My hair goes past my shoulders, and I don't recommend it.
It's so hard to manage. It takes long to wash, and it always gets in my face/eyes, and etc.
I only keep it like this for religious purposes.
Religious purposes? Interesting.
OP: of course your fucking hair will continue growing...

Care to elaborate?
I'm genuinely intrigued.
