Morally... having a ethical pyro sub-forum on a site with a sub-forum that promotes bad-ideas like stealing, hard-core fuck your shit up revenge, random lashing out towards strangers destroying their property, and just immature retarded shit like that... is wrong. I don't know how I managed to stay at &Totse under essentially the same conditions for so long. Perhaps I was not as mature then as I am now. Perhaps as a mod I ventured out of the one forum I really frequent enough to see just how fucked up some of the troll/worthless members personal agendas are... Somehow I was able to ignore it back then. Which I see as a personal denial of the problem. Regardless, I am mature enough now to see this and understand fully the distaste I have for it. So thats one thing. In particular, this is the part that means that I refuse to continue to take part in this forum in addition to the other forums I will continue to frequent... on morale ground. In other words, this is not a vacation back to being a regular member, this is more like, remove my mod status and lock my account but retain all posts.

There is like no-one here that is even seriously interested in pyrotechnics. Why the fuck should I stay? This environment (constant trolling/worthless posts) is not conductive to learning and expanding my horizons (or others horizons IMO). There are a few good pyrotechnics and chemistry forums out there where my knowledge can better grow... Where once again I can be the student... and at times contribute the knowledge I have... where perhaps it will not be wasted on immature un-interested minds. I've got to continue to grow... and I see these fucking morons as a barrier.

I have actually been wanting to leave for a while now... and every time I was about to make a post... some other mod would leave... and ya know... I didn't want to leave at the same time... otherwise it would look like all the mods were leaving... But fuck it.

Theres fucking trolls and worthless posters everywhere. If they stayed in the general forums I wouldn't mind, but when they invade all the serious sub-forums... it really ruins things. In addition there is a fuck-ton of drama, usually resulting from a few troll/worthless posters complaining about the mods. These members seem to want this place to either be:
1) 4chan
2) their own personal playground (note choice of words, playground == they are mentally young and immature)
3) taken down so that some of the members will migrate to these troll/worthless posters personal forums. (Which wouldn't happen anyways, but they don't seem to grasp this.)
In addition there are constantly other MUCH more shady personal agendas going on... Stealing personal info of members/moderators and trying to use it as blackmail to get more personal info and/or power... You wouldn't believe how many of the posters here are just shaddow accounts. Some people truely have no life and they are lashing the fuck out at zoklet for some reason or personal agenda.
If you want to continue to have a good experience on this site... My advice would be to pick a few low traffic sub-forums and never venture out of them. Ignore the rest. Ignore anyone preaching about the mods. (probably personal agenda crap)

If you really want to continue to talk to me via AIM/MSN/email whatever, I might give you that information in #totsebb. I might check my PM's here a few weeks later, but this isn't guaranteed. The forum I'll definitely continue to post on is APC. If your seriously interested in pyrotechnics, you might want to move there as well (or UKRP, passfire, etc...). I'll probably post on the new roguesci (Pxriusscience or however it is spelled) for a while. I dunno if I'll stick with that. I'll read SMDB more often, and hopefully learn enough to start posting there more often...
