What this thread is about, is how to make a new name for yourself. I am not talking about COMPLETELY changing your identity, but merely using another name, when the time arises.

I hope we can all share our knowledge in regards to the subject. Information on how to go about it, cohesive names, what name should be chosen, and how to fake background information.

Now, to get to the good stuff.

The best way to fool someone into believing you are who you say you are, is to do it in a genuine way, everyone knows that. A good example of what not to name yourself would be, Raheem Jabaar, if you are a caucasian male with no accent whatsoever. What is essential in the naming process is the last name; and you should do much research into who you chose to be. To optimally do this, you must know of your ancestors, and where they came from (or at least where you appear to be from). At this point, find common last names of those origins. You have just found your last name.

Backround information must be chosen diligently also. It is best to find something parallel to your true identity, that way you will be able to tell the story in a more genuine way, and be able to repeat it verbatim when questioned.

All of this, is what makes sense to me, and probably makes is common knowledge to you all. Please, if you know any more, POST IN THIS THREAD.

Oh, this is not for the police. With the police, you need to be as honest as possible when identifying yourself, lest you bring more trouble upon yourself.

The point in changing your identity this way is to appear as someone you are not. Say, you are a 27 year old man, and decide to go out of town, in your Maxima, macolias. Maybe you head north, to Tallahassee. Nobody knows you in this town, and it would be convenient to keep it this way. In your mind, you have a secondary name, complete with background information, place of birth, employment, etc. Either to practice your con-artistry, or just for plain shit's and giggles, having a secondary person that you can use can be of utmost importance. Who knows when you will need it.

I'm not knocking your identity changing method even though I've read the same thing in a couple of books but didn't see much of a point to it. If you're up to no good in a particular area and need a fresh start than this should do just fine.

One off the top of my head is how to change your identity by ariza research.

Just about all of the identity changing books that don't mention the methods of obtaining a new identity basically have exactly what your original post contained. When reading it's perceived to me as a bad case of paranoia but every situation is different. I've since deleted the ebooks due to the fact that they are of no use for me.

You posted some useful information on the subject though.

Fuck making a new one, steal an existing one.

Start out by phishing them out of all their bank details, and their driving details.

Once you have their driving License #, SS/NI #, and address that's on the driving license then you can easily open up an anonymous online bank account.
From here it'll be easier for you to open up many other necessities in their name.

It's ideal for you to get a couple of fake IDs of other phished people as well and bank accounts, have identities you can switch to so you're not constantly using the same one.

Don't bother with any of the old assassin advice in textfiles where they tell you to find someone dead with the same First name as you, it's not as easy to get a birth certificate of someone who is dead, even if you tell them it's for Genology purposes; it just doesn't work like that anymore since 9/11 they've made it harder for terrorists to get new IDs so they can't get false passports.

It's much easier to steal someone's ID who is alive (sounds like that should be common sense really).

I know this because I'm greatly interested in it myself.

Before you work on making a new ID though you must erase all traces of your old one. Photos, contacts (don't tell any of them where you plan on going either), place of residence, etc.

Read my carding post as well, it gives a little on the basics that can lead onto ID theft. It's a lot to do, but it's quiet easy to steal someone's ID and effectively live as them.

How fucking obvious is that... Does it even need to be said? If someone were stupid enough not to realize this, they wouldn't have a shot at making a new identity. Also, the way you're describing is basically just useful for lying to someone at a bar or a similar situation. It has no real use with police or in any meaningful situation. Just for blowing off fat chicks.

There's a ton of eBooks out there that go into WAY moar detail about changing your identity that this bullshit that you posted. LERN MOAR!
