Well mainly boot camp was really fun/entertaining, i mean yes it was hard. but there was a lot of guys who got smoked and had to do weird things and say stuff haha.

not really, its a really cool branch 1 weekend a month 2 weeks a year [in summer] so while im off duty, i goto school.

Yea i know a few people that joined the NG. I joined the Navy to get out and travel

PFC 31b and no not yet, we haven't gotten orders yet

Did you have to do the DEP? (delayed entry program) or is it different in the national guard?

Ive been in DEP since may, and i dont ship for basic until April 2010. Sucks ass just sitting around here

for the national guard while you wait for boot you go to RSP which is a paid drill time 1 weekend a month, learning all the basics about boot camp and stuff to get you ready for the real boot camp. No i didn't get DEP, i got threw rather fast.
