Now am i not unusual enough for science; or am i fucking retard because i cant see dark matter and neither can you!

All natural science has done is put its faith in an inference based on gravity. Co-relation is not a very good premise.

Science is definitely not for the obvious because if it was we would not need the method to investigate anything!

Natural science relies so much on the material senses, but how much or science can be perceived directly through the material senses?

Not a lot; yet much of society is willing to accept the existence of dark matter; genetics, gravity, black-wholes, evolution etc just because natural science says so, and says they have analyzed the evidence and found it to be true. This is not enough- self verification is also needed.

My point is; its a nice title for the forum- but not an accurate portrayal of modern science which relies on its relationship with modern technology so much that most of the discoveries cannot be perceived simply with the material senses; even though that is the premise for scientific conclusion.

My social commentary on this is that society places too much faith in science; even though science hates faith.

Im not saying science is wrong; just that people need to fuckin read up before they form their agreement with scientific conclusion.

People who do not research the particular topic themselves must rely on faith, however, it is much more likely to be correct because committees of highly trained people have agreed that it is correct. I trust scientists conclusions that I have not looked into or am incapable of understanding because of this and if they are wrong, the theory will be revised. To believe even the most simple of scientific theories requires faith because you can only perceive it from your point of view. You must believe that your perception is an accurate representation of your environment.

I think you need to watch these, then learn a little about science.
