Yes, it could be abused. But no more than the thanks system that is currently in place could.

nah, it would help polarize people even more after people/groups with issues with eachother would try to thank eachother up AND thank others down

not hitting "thanks" is enough of a no thanks imo

Zok should replace the thanks with a no thanks. It would be a much better fit for this bbs anyway

no, a no thanks function would be abused even more cause if you dont like a particular poster you'd just give him the thumbs down on a bunch of shit

Everything has potential for abuse. That doesn't mean such potential is a good reason to not add a certain feature.

Use your words people. If you don't agree with a post, pressing a button doesn't further the conversation. If you want a conversational forum, then a "No Thanks" button will only detract from it.
