I was on www.canirunit.com seeing if I could run Crysis smoothly, and under video ram, it said 1.8gb. I don't see why it said this, as my video card is 256mb. Also, under processor speed, it said "You have 2.10ghz performance rated at 5.36ghz." Why does it say that?

Site could still have some bugs with it. As for the processor speed, people may be able to overclock it. Although that seems really too high...

the 2.1Ghz (core2duo I presume) would be the equivilent to a 5.36 pentium 4
and as for the 1.8GB RAM it may have just mis read your PC's RAM instead especially if its a graphics card that use's the system's RAM as its own.

My processor is an AMD phenom triple core processor. (yes they make those)
And are you saying since I have abundant ram (4gb) that I could have much more than 256mb video memory?

a 2.1Ghz tri core phenom is far more powerfull than a 5.36Ghz p4 so probably just the program hasn't been adjusted to take into acount AMD phenom X3 series of processors.
if you'r graphics card uses such technologies such as;
http://www.nvidia.com/page/turbocache.html
then its possible though high unlikely GPU's dont use 2.2GB of your systems RAM as its alot slower than the RAM located on the actual card.
99.99% chance that the program just doesnt like your pc setup.
what graphics card do you have BTW?

wtf? that thing is piece of shit. No offense. Buy yourself a 4830 512 for 100. You can run crysis a lot more fluently.
Your trying to run crysis on that piece of shit. OMFG.
Your bottleneck is the graphic card. Close this damn thread.

Uh. Let me think. It's a valid question, so it's staying open.

Your main ram can be mapped and used by the video driver, so its showing the total texture memory available to directx (maybe even opengl, idk), including the physical vram on your graphics card.
Also, under processor speed, it said "You have 2.10ghz performance rated at 5.36ghz." Why does it say that?
Maybe its adding the speed of your 3 cores (at idle clocks maybe?). Ive also seen benchmarks that give a performance rating based on what clock speed a pentium 1 would have to run at to yield the results of the modern processor.
