I'd like to see this as well, but whether or not the hack can be altered is something that Zok would need to confirm. There's nothing about the sorting method in the regular options, which means its in the BB code, which is something I don't have (or want) access to.

Yeah, somebody should do something about that. It's rather annoying not knowing what you've been thanked for.

It's not urgent, but Zok seems to like fucking around with code; so if we all want it, I'm sure he'll find time to get round to it sooner or later.

I must agree with this suggestion as well. While I don't get all excited because of my "thanked count/ratio". I do find it useful in helping to ascertain the mindset of users. Being relatively new to Zoklet there are many users who's outlook on issues I am not fully familiar with. I find the thanks feature to be a useful tool for that purpose. It allows users to see who views various issues in a similar fashion as they do. being able to sort them by date would make the feature much more convenient for that purpose. :thumbsup:

I've been meaning to do this for a while - I just don't have the time. It's a fairly big fix to make. Maybe in the upcoming weeks if I get a chance, but I know I won't have time until late next week at the very earliest...

Unless you know vbulletin code, php, or mysql you can stfu because you have absolutely no idea what's involved in this hack. If it were a point and click setting I'd have done it weeks ago. But it's not - there is a lot involved and it's really not worth the fuss. And honestly, there are more pressing things on this site than the order in which your post thanks are displayed...

Lately I've been working on finding ad partners to get zoklet some cashflow and new members. I've also been rewriting our sitemap script so that it's easier to find us on google. I have also been making tweaks to the main page so that people can post articles and increase the site's content. These are things that bring people to the site. They greatly outweigh this feature in importance (sorry 1337 - I know this is important to you but it's pretty low priority for me right now. I hope that explains why...).

I like to know what I've been thanked for, and it's annoying when something pops up but you never know 'cause it must be an old post. You should keep current system, but then be able to switch to a list of individual thanks sorted by time.

I've looked into this and with the current Thanks feature there's no way to adjust the settings for how they're displayed in your user profile. However, Zok might know more about a way to get around this than I do, so I'll notify him and see if he can take a look at it.

Sorry, I know this thread has been made before, but I can't find it. Since I know it's been suggested and was generally regarded as a good idea, why are thanks still sorted by date of post instead of date thanked? It would be a very nice tool. Was it just that nobody could figure out how to change this, or is there some other lame reason?
