I love colonel Tigh. He is simply amazing, I love the season where he assumes martial law and dissolves the quorum.

Baltar! And whatever happened to those head characters? We get one short scene where Baltar meets head Baltar and then we never hear from them again.

Admiral Adama. He epitimizes how a leader should be.

I used to love Starbuck before she started painting weird stuff and got religious and then died. Then my favorite was Gaeta, I love how he went from minor regular to major character, with the dramatic but more or less believable character development. But then he died too. I like the Chief the most now, he's just so... likeable. And he saved all of them last week when Roslin was just being scary and cylons were just standing around with their heads up their asses. Score for Tyrol

Baltar! And whatever happened to those head characters? We get one short scene where Baltar meets head Baltar and then we never hear from them again.

I was wondering what happened to imaginary Six / Baltar too. Maybe they just abandoned that because they couldn't have like THREE final cylons!

Oh man I feel so fucking cool when I talk Battlestar.

I swear the show would have more mainstream appeal if they didn't call it something totally lame like BATTLESTAR GALACTICA.

Yeah... but they gotta stay true to their roots, at least a little.

Besides, what's the fun of being on the "inside" of a [nerd] phenomenon if there is no "outside"?

Hopefully Caprica goes down better in that I'm not considered a total social pariah for watching it.

It does have a less conspicuously lame name. I'm looking forward to it.

I used to be a closet BSG fan until I started getting my friends into it. Now the kids at skool don't tease me as much and I only cry myself to sleep every other night.

i was actually a fan of it when i was a little kid. when i was about 6 or so my dad had tapes of the old old bsg episodes. it looked pretty awesome. though now it just looks like crap.

though about a year before the new series came out, i bought the game on xbox. its set during the first cylon war where adama was still a rookie. one of the bonus material was a trailer for the new series and i was all :fap:

(yes i know the fap smilie is disabled)

I used to like it, then I missed a season and wound up with no idea what was going on. Plus I don't have cable anymore.

I used to watch reruns on space channel (the canuck scifi channel) when I was in middle school. I loved that show, but not as nearly as much as I loved Star Trek.

When I watched the miniseries, and realized that they had remade the show through the lense of a sci-fi allegory about the war on terror I just about came. Finally, a show that epitimizes the spirit of the decade: radical islam vs neo conservatism.

Adama = Leo Strauss?

Fuck mainstream appeal, Battlestar Galactica is an awesome title.

My favourite character is Saul Tigh, because he's the most hardcore drinker ever and STILL manages to get shit done.
