Well I am a pretty big fan of Blink-182. I got my first Blink Album(Enema of the State) when I was like 5, I know alot of there Songs on guitar, I have got some Documentaries on DVD on them etc &All that BS. I haven't yet got a Tom Delonge Duncan Invader :( Looking forward to when I do have one sitting at the front of my chest.

As some of you may know Travis Barker had a pretty fucked up Plane Crash, Few people died and 2 Survived (DJ AMMO, TRAVIS BARKER). Basically Tom started talking to Travis & Mark then they were friends. On the 51st Grammys they Announced that they are Back. I don't think Tom could go back to singing about Fucking Dogs his music has got a little bit more Serious... I don't really like AVA but yeah hopefully this is the end of them.

I don't know what to expect on there upcoming Album. I hope they come back better then ever. If you listen to the 'Popular' music today it is all basically shit. I am looking forward to more Hits from Blink-182. They do have a Humor Side to there songs and a Serious Side. I am not sure which is my favourite Blink Album but as I said I'm looking forward to the new album.

The only thing I love about Blink is that
a) everyone knows their songs
+
b) they're generally pretty simple
which =
c) Great for an extra number or two on a set-list.

They write some catchy pop songs. They're fun to sing along to.

That being said, I haven't owned an album of theirs since Cheshire Cat.

Does ANYONE find this ironic, especially in a Blink 182 thread?
Lol...

Dude Ranch is their best album. The rest are pretty mediocre.

Emo Faggots. I don't see how anyone older than 12 could even like them.

I prefer neither at all...

There is almost no musical variety with what you listed. I personally find it really unlistenable.

Enema of the State and Take off your pants and Jacket were probabley the first CD's I ever bought.

Hahaha I even remember my mom taking the jacket of the CD case out because of the nurse with big tits putting on a glove.

I'm glad they're doing another album, they have a lot of good songs...hopefully they stick with that serious stuff they were doing with their last album.

My sister was pretty obsessed with them. I hafta admit, I was happy when she told me they're getting back together.

I think Carousel was one of the first songs I learned on bass.

I totally jacked it to that album cover when I was 10.

im surprised at the amount of praise here.

Blink 182 is pop punk, arent you guys over that shit yet?

O wait, this is the incarnate of totse.

Blink 182 us no less shallow than the nigger rap in the top 20. Only slightly cathier; ive grown out of that shit.

I just don't know why anyone would buy their new album, or even have respect for them. Their last few albums sucked. The guitarist/singer then decides he's too good for the band and starts a new one that he says "will change rock music forever" but in fact, sucks worse than his original band. After a few years he starts to realize this and figures he'll "relive the glory days" and sell more records if he gets back together with mark and travis who both despise him. What a fucking douchebag.

I have nothing against mark and travis though, they're humble and decent musicians.

Gotta agree with this. Any modern pop music (Blink 182 included in that) is the aural equivalent of shoving a rusty nail into my eyeball.

Gotta admit, Blink 182 has a special place in my heart. You know when you hear a song you used to listen to a long time ago and it brings back all the memories and feelings from that time? I love taking a trip back to my innocent years when I was like 14 and 15.

I think everyone listened to Blink 182 at some point. There's not really much reason not to...

Other than that, I'm looking forward to their new album, mostly because I'm interested to see how it turns out.

Hopefully Tom has fallen off his Oxy fueled horse of "amazing powerful music", and we can listen to some old bad ass blink. Highly doubt it though.

Actually I was the one listening to the Volta while everyone called me and my music weird.

I'm the one laughing now though.
