Every sub forum should have its own varation of the Zoklet logo

Kinda like how Rockstar Games has its own logo. but each team of developers have their own variation. its only different colors but we could do something similar. Leave it up to the mods and users or a forum to decide.

Well we used to sort of have this with the different banners for Flasks and Beakers and PEOO etc, only I think they were just random, and not forum-specific.

Yes, this idea was mentioned before and I already have banners for LOL, Internet and Trading Pit thanks to the banner contest.

We had the rotating banners before, but this idea of having a static banner for each forum is a really good idea, IMO. With the rotating banners, most of them were very poorly-done, but there were a couple there that were smoking nice. I think it was when the poor ones kept popping up that people got annoyed with them. Having a permanent banner for ever forum would give that particular forum more identity.. more familiarity... more unique personality.. and it would also lend the opportunity for the regulars of that given forum to "vote their logo-banner off the island" if it wasn't the very best one that could be there.

With this idea I think there needs to be some uniformity though, such as having them all the same size.

That's entirely up to you. If you don't know much about design it may be best if you choose a more simple and standard font, one that won't look so tacky and outdated.
