The prisons here could be so much better. There could be a decent effort to actually rehabilitate some of the convicts. Better drug rehab. Also some programs that put convicts to work and make some money to help pay back the state and the victim of their crime.. There could actually real punishment for repeat offenders, people who obviously don't care about society and are laws. Murders and rapist and lowlifes of all types could be on 12 hour a day chain gangs. The most violet and disturbed people after their conviction in a court of law should be executed within a short time period to save tax payers a few dollars. In my opinion there is no sense in clothing and feeding these people for years just to execute them, do it in a timely manner.
