I'm downloading Windows Black for my computer and I need to know from people who might've tried it before. Is it better than Windows Vista? Is it able to do more than most XP versions? Or does it suck mad nutz?

It's just a repackaged version of XP. If you're expecting a huge difference, you're sadly misinformed.
It will lack the kernel updates that Windows Vista and Windows 7 have.
What is that, XP with Royale Noir or something?

Probaby the Microsoft Zune theme.
There's a lot of these modified versions of Windows, its' the same exact thing really just with added software built in.... standard XP is better imo

Normal XP pro sp3 is usually just as fast. not to mention I always fear that the O.S. could hold some nasties or backdoors.

People keep saying bad things, but I fear they're missing out on the good by complaining about the bad.
While it runs a bit slower, and is a bit larger, it has many more toys and useful things. Mind you, it's nothing that you couldn't do yourself in a couple hours, but it is nice that it does it for you.
I do recommend it.
