This book basically follows the plot of the genuine article, but with an undead infestation providing a thoroughly exciting backdrop. It is very funny in places, and I can certainly recommend it over and above the original to those who aren't easily engrossed in an exclusively romantic tale. I do have two main problems though.
#1: There are no chipmunks in England. Please check your fucking facts.
#2: There is no such word as "gotten" in the English language. This is entirely an American construct.

Has anybody else read this book? IMDB tells me Hollywood plan to shit all over it next year.
EDIT: Yeah, this book was pretty awful. I don't know why I said I'd read it. The novelty factor got me half way through, but that's it.

The book sounds neat and all but...
...why the fuck are you whining about chipmunks in England when there are ZOMBIES all over the place? What's wrong with the word 'gotten'? It sounds too bitchy of you to be complaining about words and shit in a book that contains ZOMBIES.

Silly Brit.

It is supposed to be period. This is the same thing as continuity in televisual entertainment.

The plot sounds like something similar to "Shaun of the Dead".

I thought it was hilarious and would recommend it for a laff. But I didn't know about the movie thing....which disturbs me. I really wish that wouldn't happen. going to be cringe-worthy fer sure.
>_<

this book is shit. I tried to read it but its so fucking retarded, the parts that he didn't write are boring as shit, and when he gets to the zombie kung-fu part its so corny and retarded I can't even stand it. Like the part where they are training and she rips the guys heart out and eats, FOR NO REASON. Wtf.

.

It's still a part of the English language. America has been around for 300 years.

zombie kung-fu part

This just shattered any reason I had to give it a go.

Pity really, it sounds like it could've been a great concept.
