i'm sure everyone here has seen the good, the bad and the ugly. if you haven't, either go to your local video store and buy that shit, or kill yourself. anyway, you may have not seen For a Fist Full of Dollar's, or For a Few Dollars More. both have many of the same actors but have completely different story lines. don't really know why they're a trilogy but they are. so if your a fan you have to see them. they are amazing if you like westerns. Clint Eastwood is the most badass mutha fucka alive.

They're a trilogy because he plays the same character. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is actually a prologue so it goes The Good..., Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More.
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is one of the best films ever made. Ennio Moriccone's (sp) score is perfect - especially at the end with the Mexican standoff. One of the greatest film moments of all time.

i'm glad to see people still love the old westerns. i've loved these movies ever since i was a kid. and i was aware that he played the same character, i was just pointing out that they don't really have one main theme. now i didn't know that the good the bad and the ugly was a prologue. didn't angel eyes die in that film? and wasn't he (or the same actor) clints partner in for a few dollars more? maybe you could clear this up.

For some reason, Lee Van Cleef plays a totally different character in both movies ( haven't seen Fistful of Dollars ). Angel Eyes is indeed dead. Yeah, even a newborn would notice that the guys from TGTB&TU and FAFDM are one and the same. Go figure.

I just got round to watching The Good, The Bad and The Ugly the other week, and I fucking loved it, and have rewatched it a dozen times since.
Tuco totally stole the show though. He had way much more development than the other two characters. He had some really great lines too.
"You want to know who you are? Huh? Huh? You don't, I do, everyone does... you're the son of a thousand fathers, all bastards like you!"

For something completely different in that genre, try the Trinity series. The first one--My Name is Trinity--is the best, I think.
