Okay, so this isn't a rant. I'm actually promoting something cool: Cliff Pickover's Reality Carnival (http://sprott.physics.wisc.edu/Pickover/pc/realitycarnival.html).

I think I first ran into this page when I stumbled across his "recursive mouth appreciatioin page (http://sprott.physics.wisc.edu/Pickover/pc/boy.html)," which I greatly appreciated. Since then, I have read his book The Mobius Strip, and I've been keeping up with his link list. I've found musicians, new websites, and new philosophies. Anyone who's heard me constantly talking about Chris Langan has Reality Carnival to thank. But instead of telling you (whomever you may be) about it, I'll just post a few links (of MANY) that Cliff also posted that I found to be truly astounding.

Crazy sheet music (http://thrillingwonder.blogspot.com/2007/02/we-dare-you-to-play-these-scores.html)
inverted anthill (http://www.bioone.org/archive/1536-2442/4/21/figure/i1536-2442-4-21-1-f01.jpg)
YouTube gloriousness (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1619313842463920970)
and the purely random (http://www.wonderfulinfo.com/lphoto/rightang.htm)

Thanks to Dr. Pickover for the links and his awesome website!
