Ok, I need these questions answered for a program I am working on in C#, but before I ask them here are some notes:
1) The typical user is restricted from the control panel, regedit, etc. (school computers)
2) There is a way around the web blocks imposed by the district, simply by putting in the IP and port of the gateway directly before the blocking proxy in mozilla's proxy settings. (does that make sense?)
3) Of course, there is no "noticeable" way to gain access to change anything.
4) There are programs on the internet that enable regedit and other administrative tools such as the Control Panel, and allow new users to be created.
5) All forms of the command prompt seem to be "blocked"... so no reg editing from the command line either.
Here are the questions:
1) (related to note 4), how do these programs enable these administrative tools?
2) (related to note 2), is there a way to change the IP/port that the computer uses for ALL connections, rather than just firefox? So anyone can log onto aim, msn, etc.
I am sure that if I can create a program that sets up another admin account, I can do all of those things and more in time.
