Easily the best game ever. There is no better online community. I played at this server called "All Night Crossfire", and its more fun than any game I've ever played (almost!).

Such a great game, HL2 was justice to HL1.

I was pissed as fuck, seriously.

But then for some reason he just blew up :/

I think the same thing happened to me.

I ran around for a couple of minutes and then he just died. I think the game thought I sucked too much and killed him for me.

Now that I think about it, that's pretty insulting. :confused:

I just beat the game again, and i didn't get the said glitch, even though I'm running v1.0.0.0.

Took me an hour on the hardest setting. I love the ending so much. I kept expecting G-man to say "Why sssso ssseriousssss" with his extreme lisp.

Allow me to introduce you guys to Black Mesa Source.. A HL2 Total conversion to Hl1. It is What HL:Source Shouldve been. It is the entire Hl1 game, with updated sounds,music,graphics,and physics. It has been in devolpent for many years now.

^I remember when it was first announced. That was like 6 years ago...

And it's not a "HL2 conversion to HL1". It's a mod project where they're rebuilding HL1 from the ground up in Source. They have all of their own models, music and textures. If you check out their website and forums, they have contests for submitting funny pop can skins (eg: Jesus Juice) and you could submit your own face as a skin to be one of the random guards or scientists.

It's a pretty big project. I just wish they would hurry up :P.

I remember I kept loading a quick save and blowing up his head with each and every weapon in my arsenal.

I saved the crowbar bashing for last ;).
