On paper, Zoklet works. Zoklet sounds like an amazing, cool place to go and really explore varying opinions, and engage in conversations based around an "anything is game" style. We are all knowledgeable in different ways, as every single one of us has had different life experiences, coming from different places on the planet, different cultures, life styles, literally everything mixed into one ultimate super website of censor-free, honest, straight to the point posts, and a knowledgeable user base (aka everyone has something they can add).

When actually put into practice, Zoklet still has some of those qualities intact. It has, however, sadly slipped a little away from this idea we have of it. Slowly over time it has gotten worse and worse, sliding further and further down. In this post I will be outlining two different areas that I feel we need to discuss. The first area will be new users, and what kind of people we attract, with the second being the actual content of the site itself.

I picture people (young in age and mentality), finding Zoklet for the first time and seeing that you can say nigger and no one cares. They probably cruise around the forums and see which users are picked on, then remember to call those ones faggot or a nigger once they create an account. Have nothing to offer, make shitty jokes, and just waste time here. I will ask this question without trying to sound mean: Do we really want users like that here? I feel if they are the type of person that would post such things on a site like this, do we really actually want them here? My answer would be no. I don't care who you think you are on this website, in real life, off this computer, you are not the type of person we want here. You add nothing to any discussion except hate and destruction. I don't want the immature, uninteresting losers that frequent our site today. We don't want you, you were never supposed to find this site.

When we have people such as that who like to cruise our site, they attract more people like them. It continues in a way that, after time, the website takes a spin downward, only attracting people that we don't even want in the first place.

I don't know about you, but I actually want users who contribute. I want experts in every field to join this site, so they can help us out, teach us things, and become involved in this community. But users like that don't join here. Users like that don't want to join here. Which leads me to my second topic of discussion, the content.

It's destruction here.

What could a smart, knowledgeable person want from a site like this? They take one look at the state of our community and never come back again. The content is literally all we have to offer, and it is utter shit. Full of unaware, unwanted posters that come around on our site and trample it and cause nuisance.

And because of that, users have left. You've ran off certain good, contributing posters because... why? Then come and brag about it, like it's some achievement? Really you should be feeling embarrassment, and the rest of the userbase should be disappointed in you. But instead you're praised. Given thanks with every "fuck you nigger" and as fast as you can type it.

What I don't understand is how you don't realize that you're not fucking wanted here. It's really as simple as that. Just your mere presence here is bringing the site down. So at that: You know who you are. Please leave.

For those of you still with me, thanks for taking the time to read this. I know not all of you will respond, and that's okay. Some of you are more "in the shadows" type of posters, which is perfectly fine. However this time I would like that you voice your opinion. You might not feel like it right now, so come back later when you're more in the mood. I would just like everyone to have a discussion about this. Because we really gotta try harder guys. It'll be only benefits for us if we all work together on this.
