Surely there are situations that can't be broken down into right and wrong, good and evil, and this must lead one to consider moral law an obsolete and flawed concept?

Here are the inside contents of a trash bag found in a dumster right outside an abortion clinic from the 1960's:

what else does this remind us of ?

Of course, abortion clinics are supposed to dispose of the "biomedical waste" by having it incinerated.
Hmmm, seems eerily similar to those ovens...

And then there was Josef Mengele, an infamous nazi who performed horrific medical experiments on unsuspecting little children. After the war, he escaped justice and fled to Argentina, where he assumed a new identity and took on a new line of work — as an abortion doctor !
Not a big surprise.

Perhaps the quickest and easiest way to justify murder is to establish the "non-humanity" of the intended victim. In the abortion industry, this is precisely what is done. Desperate women are glibly told by "health clinic" personnel that abortion procedures simply involve the swift removal of inconsequential body tissue.

I was thinking the other day. Pigs can never be smarter than they are. Meaning, they will never fly, understand solar systems, or invent jet throttles. But they are able to converse with other pigs, enjoy, eat, and chill all day. That's their world. Until they get slaughtered. They don't even know how they died.

Well, ok. What if humans were going through the same cycle? Except humans possess one thing that animals do not. That is our highly developed human intelligence. What if through some metaphysical process, humans were put on this planet to have our brains harvested once we die. By that time, our brains would possess high intelligence and be "ready" for harvest. Maybe that is the reason why we die. For what purpose? I don't know.

This is our world (similar to the pigs) and are limited, we will never fly and we still don't fully understand death. Maybe that is to protect us against our meaningless purpose (although still a collective purpose).

The following is from an interview with an anonymous informant who formerly worked at an abortion clinic:

Kelly: “We did not use specimens that had STDs [sexually transmitted diseases] or fetal abnormalities. We only wanted the most perfect specimens that we could give to the researchers.”

And the age of these babies?

Kelly: “The victims were up to and over 30-weeks gestation. We were looking for eyes, livers, brains, thymuses [lymphoid tissue], cardiac blood, cord blood, blood from the liver, even blood from the limbs.”

Only an estimated 2% of the late-term aborted babies had abnormalities.

Kelly: “The rest were very healthy. 95% of the time, she was just there to get rid of the baby.”

How many of the late-term – the ones around 30 weeks – would you see?

Kelly: “Probably 30 or 40 babies a week. ... We would sell the tissue to private contractors. They in turn would sell to other universities and researchers. There was a high demand every week to buy such fetal tissues. It was shipped by UPS, FedEx, Airborne and sometimes by special couriers. Sometimes we would take the specimen in a box to the airport and put it on as regular cargo, to be picked up at the destination.”

And did these shipping companies know they were transporting baby parts?

Kelly: “No. All they knew was that it was just human cells. But it could be a completely intact fetus. It might be a batch of eyes, or 30 or 40 livers going out that day, or thymuses...”

And the leftover parts?

Kelly: “We would usually put this down the garbage disposal along with the placenta and the leftover blood material. If it was too large to go down the drain, they had a special freezer and when they accumulated 60 or 70 fetuses in one box, it would be picked up for incineration.”

And then the obvious question. Kelly is still working for this company, so why did she come and tell this story to a pro-life group? One day when she was working, “A set of twins at 24 weeks gestation was brought to us in a pan. They were both alive. The doctor came back and said, `Got you some good specimens, twins.' I looked at him and said, `There's something wrong here. They are moving. I don't do this. This is not in my contract.' I told him I would not be part of taking their lives. So he took a bottle of sterile water and poured it in the pan until the fluid came up over their mouths and noses, letting them drown. I left the room because I could not watch this.” But she did go back and dissect them after they were dead. “That's when I decided it was wrong. I did not want to be there when that happened.” And then it happened again and again. “At 16 weeks, all the way up to sometimes even 30 weeks, and we had live births come back to us.”

And then?

Kelly: “Then the doctor would either break the neck or take a pair of tongs and beat the fetus until it was dead.”

Did the abortionist ever alter the procedures to get you the type of specimens you needed that day?

Kelly: “Yes, before the procedures they would want to see the list of what we wanted to procure. The doctor would get us the most complete, intact specimens that he could. They would be delivered to us completely intact. Sometimes the fetus appeared to be dead, but when we opened up the chest cavity, the heart was still beating.”

Kelly was asked if the type of abortion procedure was intentionally altered to deliver to you an intact specimen, even if that meant giving you a live baby? Her answer was, “Yes, that was so we could sell better tissue, so that our company would make more money. At the end of the year, they would give the clinic back more money because we got good specimens.”

http://www.lifeissues.org/connector/99jul.html

Millions suffer from diseases and injuries that allegedly could be aided to various degrees by foetal tissue transplants. These maladies include Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease, diabetes, and head injuries, stroke, and paralysis. These are the conditions upon which pro-harvesting researchers focus when they say that foetal transplants can provide aid. Therefore, some 'ethicists' and hospital researchers have become almost hysterically joyful over the prospect of having access to an abundant source of useful 'foetal material' produced by millions of abortions:
But this sympathy is misplaced, unless there is a good deal more conscious activity in the foetal "mind" than we have any reason to suspect. While a foetus of five or six months may, perhaps, possess some flickering of sensation or some capacity to feel pain, this is equally true and probably even more true of creatures like fish or insects, which few would doubt the propriety of killing in order to save human lives. In such cases, a proper respect for the right to life requires that it not be respected where it does not exist."

In 1988, researchers transferred brain cells from an aborted seven-week old fetus into an adult patient for the first time. The cells were implanted in an unnamed 55-year old male Parkinson's disease patient by a surgical team led by Dr. Curt Freed and Dr. Robert Breeze at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, USA

One study performed by eight Swedish researchers was rather revealing into the origins of their human tissue:

Quote:

What is the significance of abortions being induced by prostaglandin? Dr. Kurt Hirschhorn of New York's Mt. Sinai Hospital explains: "With prostaglandins, you can arrange the whole abortion so the foetus comes out viable in the sense that it can survive hours, or a day."
( National Observer, April 21, 1973 )

One South Korean abortion doctor, Professor Lee Myung Bok of Seoul University's Medical Department, paid other doctors to cut the kidneys out of more than 12,000 fetuses immediately after they were killed, then pack them in ice and ship them to the USA. He grossed $180,000 for his efforts.
(World Trends and Forecasts. Recycling Human Bodies to Save Lives. The Futurist, 1976)

http://www.nrlc.org/Baby_Parts/omeara.html

Now we know the real reason why there was so much resistance from the medical research community against banning late-term abortions. Many abortion clinics were making money too. These clinics want the baby to come out in one piece, so as not to damage those valuable organs, and often times this means the baby gets born alive.

the "unknown known". That is, as Josh Billings famously expressed it, "It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you think you know that just ain't so". Indeed, [former US Secretary of Defense] Rumsfeld [omitted the most dangerous type of unknown; in hindsight we see that he] was really discussing an "unknown known" which provided faulty justification for the war—members of the Bush administration claimed that the Iraqi government possessed weapons of mass destruction (see Rationale for the Iraq War), but it just wasn't so.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/There_are_known_knowns

This thread is not limited to pretensions of knowledge; we can also discuss mysteries and the few who know their unknowns. Other topics to consider: Are there any "final mysteries"?

I think the hardest subject to critically understand, ponder, and act upon is one's expectation and experience of the present. We should not be fooled that just because the subject involves ourselves that the topic is subjective: there is always an objective purpose--everything happens for a reason. The above wiki alludes to this:

"The opposite of unawareness is awareness"

Any ideas for engaging with the present? What does it mean to "go with the flow" in the context of thinking about one's present experience? Is this the withholding of criticism in order to find a place for intuition in everyday experience of the present? Can you be critical, while also accepting; knowing--and yet perceiving without judgment? Is awareness really a binary state as described or is it multifaceted? And is it true that if you don't use it, you lose it? How much does this apply to intuition and critical thinking? And what are the mental habits that we should cultivate for our entire lives?

In my opinion, a desire for variety is the best guide for both of these mental faculties; exposure to new ideas gives the critic new tactics and builds rhetorical skills while eventually leading to ideas that allow you to follow your true nature--to more objectively be yourself whether you choose to think or not.

Do you think that intuition is the opposite of critical thinking? Are there any techniques or rules of thumb for discovering that you are mistaken? What are the clues that make you suspect that you are right and others are wrong? Are you brave enough to discuss examples from your own life?

I can see that politicians fool people all the time and maybe this is not due to ignorance but because people honestly disagree on where power should be vested economically and socially; however, in my experience, very few political arguments lead to a shift in opinion or end in agreement even though politicians are hated by almost everyone (except non-critical sycophants). What is it that we are we unaware of? Our own power? Perhaps this is a case of being too critical, too certain to move forward and flow into a brighter future.

The world's carrying capacity in a best case, short term scenario has been estimated at no more than 10 billion people. We will have more than 8 billion people by 2025. Some regions like India are already straining under the weight of excess nproductive millions, and with climate change already damaging farmland (this is not hypothetical) and food stocks so low (we have eaten more than we have produced for several decades, and with JIT and privatisation maintaining a prudent reserve of staples is thought a terrible waste) we can easily see a swing into not having enough food to go around. In fact I will bet on it within maybe 10 years.

In the future we're going to have to stop worrying about starving people. We're going to have to get used to hearing stuff like "2 million people starved to death yesterday in India". You've got to just not give a shit. This is just what will result from the massive population growth that's going on right now. Those kids that are being shit out today, a lot of them are going to just starve. No one cares, least of all their parents. You've got to feed your dog and cat too. Being a sucker isn't an option, don't feed starving kids so they can. grow up to make 4 more starving kids. That just isn't an option.

Governments will hoarde food. You already seen this when Russia banned grain exports followinf a bad harvest in 2012. That fucked us hard, cattle feed got way more expensive. In the future a lot of starving people will make a break for the borders of countries like Russia, that have food. Do you think that the army will machine gun down hungry women and kids that just want some food? What will the world say?

The future's going to be mentally so much harder than it is now.

Anyone seen just about enough morbid/gore videos?

I wouldn't want to watch the one that this poster mentions. I've seen the vids of a guy being burned alive in brazil or wherever the fuck it was. I've seen likely 300-400 disgusting, disturbing shock videos before... but I think a point comes in which you're just like "Ok, I get it, this existence is fucked and the horrific occurs even though I don't see much of it in this nice country of Canad6."

My morbid curiosity in the past has provided my mind with all sorts of things that opened my eyes a bit too wide in regards to how I perceive human life/the world... eventually leading to desensitization and probably contributing to existential anxiety.

Now for some reason I really don't want to see anymore morbid shit. My curiosity does not outweigh my desire for not wanting to be reminded of certain things that occur.

Images will probably never bother me again. I saw all of the shit on rotten.com when I was in elementary school. I don't want to see anymore videos of people being tortured, however. Especially not old women or kids.

I think the most disturbing stuff for me was not of the highest gore content or even the most brutal... like some criminal being burned alive... but probably that one video of the women in the hospital bed completely alive and grimacing with part of her arm completely rotted off and her ulna exposed. Something about how it wasn't someone doing this to her, but how a human being just like me and everyone else could mistakenly think ingesting something capable of inflicting such nightmarishly horrible consequences was a good idea.

Didn't care very much for the one that has 2 young children in some 3rd world country, one with his jaw blown off and the other with his leg blown off.

Here I will be sharing by views in an attempt to give you an idea of how some ignorance can slow the collective evolution of the human race.

Here...

Here I will be sharing by views in an attempt to give you an idea of how some ignorance can slow the collective evolution of the human race.

Here we have 14 year old Daytron. He is in a gang, and he regularly carries a gun. In the interview, Steve Wilkos brings out an ex thug, to try and help this young man see the light. Note the difference in how the two guys hold themselves, and how they speak.

My 14 Year Old Carries A Gun (Full Length Clip) - YouTube

My 14 Year Old Carries A Gun (Full Length Clip) - YouTube

Video: click to display

So now that you have watched the video, you may have noticed that the young man doesn't seem particularly proud of his actions. Now many of you who may or may not participate in 'criminal activity'(?) may be able to relate to the way Daytron holds himself. Ask yourself this, when I am in this position, am I merely trying to be a deviant criminal, or am I trying to do the best I know? If you can relate, you will understand that his demeanor is that he's trying to make his place in the world. You don't have to inspire others, you don't have to help others, and you certainly don't have to change someone else's life to live a responsible and rewarding life. These generosities are accomplished by people who are already where they want to be in life, because it's convenient to them. So if you can understand that, then you can difinetly tell that he's not gang banging to be respected, or to fit in. He's probably not even doing it because he's board. He's doing it because he's gotta get it how he lives it. Just like you, just like your dog, such as life.

Now on to the thug that Steve brings out. A quick examination will tell you that this joker was someone who was clearly not in it for the grind. Anyone can see that this guy is obviously a wanksta in it for the 'ha ha lolz, I'm a hard mothafucka' shit. This dude probably pisses on his balls. Now here's the problem: Everybody always wants to get all butt hurt about the ignorant nigger. The predominate resident living in our prison systems... So to combat this, we bring out a joker to scare a serious ass young man into 'doing the right thing'. Well here's the thing, sometimes we gotta take shortcuts, that's just life ya know. So 3 years later when this kid has 8 baby mommas and a part time minimum wage job, this fool isn't going to really have any choice is he? He's going to go back to his old ways and he's going to fail at it. Why you might ask? Because he fell off, he couldn't keep up, he lost his edge on the game.

Now lets go back 3 years, pretend that mama didn't bring Daytron on the show. Now from any of you experienced crooks, you understand that crime isn't a permanent solution, and you learned this in your own. How did you learn this? Because you either got caught, or you somehow obtained enough capital to get on your feet and make some legitimate way to make it work for you. So what do we do with Daytron? We let life happen to him. We let the real men deal with this punk, not some assclown with some sorry story. Let him go to prison, or let him move 2 tons of weed.

You can fill in the rest.

So after some collaboration in my dreams... It has come to my attention that women in my life tend to try to over correct, and over react...

They need to stay minding their own shit.

As in the past they have shown that they continue to completely derail my train of thought into mere stupidity when I am trying to show them critical points in my logic.

Last night my mother asked me "do you care what I want"

To which I quickly and firmly replied no.

She started to walk away, and I was like, we'll what do you want?
She exchanges some garbage for a minute and finally says, "for you to do your laundry" and I was like "o sure"

So in conclusion, take this day out to give the females in your life something that will really help them. A wack right in the mouth, any time it starts to get below 100 I.q.

No more "listen bitch" it's "bitch listen".

Now you be sure to show some appreciation too.

Despite their important implications for interpersonal behaviors and relations, cognitive abilities have been largely ignored as explanations of prejudice. We proposed and tested mediation models in which lower cognitive ability predicts greater prejudice, an effect mediated through the endorsement of right-wing ideologies (social conservatism, right-wing authoritarianism) and low levels of contact with out-groups. In an analysis of two large-scale, nationally representative United Kingdom data sets (N = 15,874), we found that lower general intelligence (g) in childhood predicts greater racism in adulthood, and this effect was largely mediated via conservative ideology. A secondary analysis of a U.S. data set confirmed a predictive effect of poor abstract-reasoning skills on antihomosexual prejudice, a relation partially mediated by both authoritarianism and low levels of intergroup contact. All analyses controlled for education and socioeconomic status. Our results suggest that cognitive abilities play a critical, albeit underappreciated, role in prejudice. Consequently, we recommend a heightened focus on cognitive ability in research on prejudice and a better integration of cognitive ability into prejudice models.

This may be a stupid topic but if I put it in BI it will get moved. Probably one of my autistic moments but whatever.

Guys like Pablo Escobar and most top mexicans are usually really white considering the country. I think white men will naturally be leaders.

There are no big coke dealers around here. The most I've known of anyone having is like a qurter kilo. And you can't get an ounce for less than $1100. 6 years ago it was $400-600. I don't know who's fault it is these niggers or the one in the white house. But I'm sure you could find a kilo for cheap and shut everyone down. But you would probably be dealing with beaners but all these assholes would be fucked

With meth it's like the government wants all of it to come from Mexico. Unless you're able to be like Walter White you can't be self sufficient with meth even. It's possible though.

Marijuana is the easiest. Cartels have their shitty brick weed but they have people in our national parks growing the good weed. You don't have to buy anything that can be restricted like with meth. And I know someone who has made millions off of this but all he does is grow it. He sells it all to one person which I guess is smart.

I would like to see more white ingenuity in the drug trade though. And before anyone starts with the 'crazy niggas gunna kill you', remember it was the white mans brutality that conquered the lesser races. They remember who is Boss/Jefe when you remind them. I think thats why men like Pablo Escobar will naturally be leaders. I've seen this myself.

Why don't media outlets ever focus on the positive of mass killings? If we accept that some constant percent of the populace are irredemable shitbags & assholes who richly need to be killed, or at least suffer horribly, then there's always a plus side to think about. Sure you can't tell which ones deserved it, but you know they're out there, or were out there. And I think that's something we should all celebrate.

For example, 264 motherfuckers wounded in Boston the other month, some quite brutally, I'm sure at least 20 of them, probably a lot more, richly deserve the suffering & pain. School shootings are the best since you know people who otherwise would grow up to be terrible assholes are killed before they get the chance to inflict themselves on the world.
