Mission Statement

Since the demise of Totse.com, Zoklet.net has taken over its goal of supplying the masses with the best, most accurate, and often sensitive information about anything and everything. With experts in almost every field of study (including psychology, technology, politics, explosives, guns and weapons, drugs and chemistry, literature, and conspiracy) we take pride in shedding light on the gray areas of the internet.

In a speech about internet freedom and security, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said something that really hit home for me. She was talking about how for years and years politicians have been afraid of the internet. They want to control it and make it "secure" (we know what that means). That which they can not control is inherently evil and needs to be destroyed or brought under control. Clinton made it clear that this is a flawed way of thinking. Whether we like it or not, technology is going to grow exponentially - faster than we can control or even fathom. The internet is here to stay. So instead of fearing this information demon, we should confront it and learn to live with it and learn to use it as both a positive and negative example.

This is where Zoklet.net comes in. No matter what happens, people are going to seek out certain information - whether it's how to make illegal drugs, construct explosives, or hack into people's computers. People are searching for this information every day and they're finding dangerous, outdated, and erroneous information. We are here to set them straight! We aren't here to assist the evil-doers, nor do we condone illegal activity. Zoklet.net is here to stop morons from hurting themselves, to help people protect themselves against these dangers, and to make such dangers publicly known.

If your kids are going to be having sex, the least you can do as a parent is to make sure they're using protection. Abstinence is the old way of thinking.

So with this in mind, go forth and explore the site - you might learn something new!

Rules for Everyone
As much as I hate to do it, it seems that it is necessary to have the rules and regulations of zoklet available to moderators and users. The reason I hate to do this is because one should not have to tell people what the rules are, what pisses people off, and what is looked down upon. When people know where the line is, they tend to push the limit more than they would otherwise. A good analogy would be a blindfolded man at the edge of a cliff. Tell him he is on the cliff and that he should approach the ledge and he will do so more cautiously and he will probably stop well before he's in any real danger. Take his blindfold off and he will be much more inclined to go toward the edge, and push closer and closer to danger because he thinks he knows where to stop. In short, when people know what the rules are, they push them and find ways around them. People should know what's right and wrong. Of course, we've got to list the rules somewhere or nobody would ever know when they'd done something wrong.

Rules for Moderators
In addition to following the rules of regular members, moderators must abide to a few additional rules.
