If you got a bigger gauged wire, you would need to get a new fuse holder. Either a higher rated inline fuse holder (I don't believe they go so high), or a couplet fuse holder like the one I just showed you. They are a little more pricey but it'll save you from burning out your amplifier and speakers from surges. If there is a best buy around you, drive around to the back and tell them what you need, they might slip it to you for cheap (especially the length of wire).
