That's awesome! Mine didn't like the ocean as much when she was a puppy because the waves were a little overwhelming, but now that she's big she LOVES it. As soon as her paws touch the sand she goes crazy with excitement. haha

I also meant to say that golden retrievers (and labs) LOVE to swim, and it's really great exercise for them. If you live near a pond or a lake that's another way you can play with your dog and keep him/her from getting bored in an apartment.
