Did you know that Claudio is in talks with Mark Wahlberg and a production company to turn The Amory Wars into a movie? I hope they go all the way with it. His story has lots of potential for the big screen.

I love them both, but if I had to pick, then I would probably go with Ascension. It seems more in line with their style judging by previous albums whereas Descension seems to be a bit of a break from that in some ways. Still, it is a hard choice. They're both pretty awesome. I'm always subject to change my mind on things like this after I get some more play time.

Well, hot damn, you just might like them as much as I do after all. The only memorabilia that I have is a signed bumper sticker from my local radio station and a picture of me cheesin' with the band. A Claudio guitar pick to add to that would be the shit. Props on that one, bro.

Hopefully, they'll be back around Nashville sometime this year. I've only seen them once in a somewhat small stage, but it still kicked ass. I'd love to see them play a big show at the Bridgestone Arena or Municipal Auditorium or some other big venue.

And, that sucks about not getting to see Neverender. My first concert was at 15. I saw Aerosmith with my brother and my parents at the old Starwood Amphitheatre. We had third row center seats, but my parents sat way back in the grass anyway just so we didn't feel like we had our parents watching out for us.

They released The Afterman Descension shortly after that album. They're both awesome. And, I agree.. I prefer the live acoustic version as well.

Did you catch the Neverender tour by any chance? I tried to buy my tickets the day after they sold out.

I was there when this was recorded. Those guys kick ass and are really humble and grounded for filthy rich rock stars. It was truly a treat to meet them and hear them play an acoustic session like that. If you ever get the chance to see them live don't let it pass you by. It's definitely worth it.

if i had a car i'd drive there, a 4.5 hour trip (google mapped it) isn't too bad, prob even be shorter like 3 hours and 20 min max in reality. but i can't rent a car being under 21

maybe catch you in nyc sometime? do you go there often?
